Zoro pov
Sanji and I haven't seen each other at all since the night with Ace. He's been working at his family restaurant almost everyday since school got out.
Not to mention, ever since Sanji told Mr. Black about the Gin accident, he's installed a 'no upstairs' for more than an hour if we are alone rule. It's not even like we would be all touchy feely as much as I want to. Sanji and I aren't back together yet. Kissing has been totally out of the question, but having him back in my arms was enough for now.
Not to mention, Sanji's siblings all came over this year for Christmas. I never knew the blonde had siblings, but he said they never talked. That they just couldn't be home alone for two weeks while his Dad was off at a business trip, so his grandpas house was the only option. They had a big family Christmas thing, so he had to miss out on Robin's party.
I remember Sanji being adopted by his grandfather, but not the why. Something about an abusive family. He didn't want to talk about it. The only one trying to befriend him was his older sister. Other than that, he said at The Baratie or upstairs on FaceTime with me.
Sometimes we talked on his lunch break, but, every time I gained enough courage tell him about the night with Ace, it was time to go.
That's why, today I invited him an hour earlier than everyone else to the New Years Party, so I could get it off my chest. It wasn't what I did that I was afraid of tell him. It was what I didn't do. There was also a lot I wanted to thank him for, especially helping mend my relationship with my sister.
"That's sweater is PER-FECT." Perona squeaked as I eyed over said sweater. It was baby blue and a little to tight. Annoyed, I pulled at the collar. This was itchier than the one from Thanksgiving. "This is what all the models are wearing."
"I'm not a model."
"And?"
I rolled my eyes at her remark. She was lucky that she helped me earn his party, or her neck would be on a head lock right now. Dad and Father we up in some fancy hotel in the city, and I didn't want to think about what they were doing. They were loud enough at home. "I'm trying to look better than usual, but like I'm going to meet his mom."
"Oh right, sorry!" Perona chimed before snapping a photo on her phone, much to my annoyance. I grumbled as he dug through my closet once again. "I heard that."
"And?" I shout back with her previous response because that's what would definitely get under her skin.
"And why am I helping you again?"
"Because you love me." I smirked before flopping back onto my bed, only for a pair of jeans to sharply hit my face. "Ow! And because I'm letting that boy come over."
"What boy?!? Just a friend Zoro!"
"Just a friend you send kiss emojis to like this." I teased before making a face to mimic the one in her IMessages. Perona fummed as I laughed vigorously. "Your really should put a password on your phone."
"Maybe your shouldn't be a noisy brat."
"Yeah yeah." I chuckled as I slipped on the long sleeve compression t-shirt, and joggers. Why would I wear a athletic shirt to a house party?
