Avery' POV
"You agreed to what?!" Megan exclaims flapping her arms up and down causing a few heads to turn to, where we was currently sitting, on a beach at the seafront.
"I agreed to go out with him tonight." I explain smiling ever so slightly. I had woken up early this morning, phoned Megan and now here we were gossiping about yesterday and what we thought was or might happen tonight.
"But you hardly know him." She frowns looking at me confused. I raise an eyebrow.
"Did you not hear the fact that he was my neighbour?" I continue to explain sighing annoyed at the fact that she had not been listening to a single word I had been saying.
"Well... Yes..." Megan begins as she raises an eyebrow back at me. "But you do realise that this is considered as a date right? Did he tell you where he was taking you?" She asks as I shrug my shoulders up and down.
"No..." I sigh hanging my head low. "I don't even know what to wear... I've never been on a date before." I feel my cheeks gaining warm with embarrassment.
"Want me to come over and help you?"
"No. I'm sure I'll be fine." I begin to tell her. "I'm going to head home and start getting ready." I finish as I gather my things and get up from the bench.
"Make sure you text me." Megan tells me looking sternly at me before I begin my walk home.
"I will do." I smile and hug her before I leave.
Tonight should be interesting.
Please tell me what you think? This was just a filler sort of chapter.
Do I need to make any improvements? This is my first story not being a fan fiction so I'll accept any comments. Grateful for feedback.
