I rushed up to Isaac said of the table and restrained myself from grabbing him from that leather chair and dragging him home.
"What the heck are you doing?" I snapped at him.
"I'm playing poker." Isaac said as plain as day as he took his move.
"No we're leaving now." I told Isaac.
"Hey West! You don't take a player out of the game in the middle of a game! You of all people should know that! Now move it!" Another senior yelled at me. If Isaac hadn't been here I would have probably punched the guy in the face. However, I was trying to set a decent example for Isaac.
"Isaac. Come on." I told him. Isaac's move came on. For the first time in the whole game, he let a smirk wander to his face. He put down his cards, winning the game. My eyes widened. I couldn't have done better.
"Pay up." Isaac said. They all grumbled by the fact of being beat by a middle schooler. They each threw three bags of nacho Doritos in the middle of the table and Isaac took them with please.
"Really? You played for Doritos!" I told Isaac.
"I told you if there were Doritos involved I was a goner." Isaac shrugged. "Hey hey, there was money involved in this too." Isaac said to all the players. They all went into a storm of grumbling. They each threw a pile of money to Isaac.
"How much did you bet?" I asked him.
"Seven hundred." Isaac shrugged.
"ISAAC!" I yelled at him. I wasn't ever going to take him to another party again. He didn't even have that kind of money.
"I'll pay you a hundred to keep your mouth shut." Isaac told me.
"Any party I come to, you pay join me." I told him. "Lets go get ice cream." I told him. Isaac slapped the hundred dollars in my hands. We walked out of there with our heads held high, and more bags of Doritos than we could carry.
