I quickly drove Isaac to school and got back to my own school by second period.
"Great I missed History. Watch me get a detention." I mumbled to myself.
"Mr. Dager."
I froze, misery filling me. I knew I was doomed. I knew I had no chance left at this game.
"You missed first period." He stared.
"Yes sir." I replied.
"Umm why?" He asked flicking his wrist. I quickly explained that I had to drop Isaac off at school. "Well why didn't you say so? Now I can give you detention for a full week." He said with a cruel smile on his face. I grabbed the pink slip from his hands and marched away.
I couldn't go to detention. But I had to. I needed to pick Isaac up those. I couldn't leave him though. I could get kicked off the football team though. I signed and realized what I had to do.
I sure as heck wasn't going to leave my brother in the dust.
