Hally's POV
8 days later

I walk into the kitchen and see Cory cooking some breakfast. A huge smirk forms on my face as I sneak up from behind him and place my hands on his eyes so he couldn't see. "Guess who..." I whispered in his ear. His muscles stiffen.

"Ummm... Caden is that you?" He guessed unsurely. Caden? Caden? What's that supposed to mean? What? I composed myself and took a deep breath.
"Umm... No you silly nincompoop. It's me Hally." I said trying to act cool. I mean he may have been joking or it's either him and Caden have some kinda inside joke or something. He suddenly jumps causing the pan to flip over, making the pancakes fly into the air, landing on Finnick's face.
"Oh seriously," Finnick yelled, walking off and eating the pancake at the same time. "It's good though"

Cory turns back to me and hesitates before he speaks.
"Oh um sorry, I was joking about the whole... Umm... Caden thing... Yeah... I knew it was... You the whole time." He gulped, his eyes looking around the whole room trying to avoid eye contact.
"Okay..." I replied unsurely. His face suddenly went serious and agitated.
"Ughhhh. Can you just do me a favour and stay out of my way." he scoffed. That really set the fuse in my sanitary lady napkins. Don't judge, I don't use tampons okay? Those scary devils! And no, I ain't on my period.
"Look. I don't know what's going on with you, but this is not the Cory I got married to. And I really hope that the guy I married will come back soon. Because so far, this Cory, is a major douche." I turn my back to walk away but I heard him mutter something to himself and I paused for a bit to hear it.
"Well if you loved that Cory, then why'd you marry two other guys."
I decided to walk away. I couldn't bear it any longer. Tears were forming in my eyes. I may sound like a dramatic brat who's crying over one guy, when I have two others, but I'm selfish okay? He's one of the guys I love. And without him, my life is incomplete. Ever since I came back, Cory's been distant. I know its only been a week but, he's just ughh. I can't even fricking explain it! It just annoys the sugar-coated biscuits out of me.

Cory's POV
I couldn't bare to look at her and pretend everything is alright. It's not. When she arrived a week ago, I heard a conversation between her and her mother that I wasn't supposed to hear. That just infuriated me, put me off my whole mood.

I couldn't stare into the eyes of the gal I loved. Loved. I didn't love her anymore. When she came back, I thought I did, I really thought I did. I tried to convince myself everyday for the past week to love her. The thing is: I don't. It all went away when she murdered the kids. I didn't see her as the gorgeous, smoking hot brunette that I married, I saw her as a cunning, deceiving murderer who toyed with people's hearts. Finnick, Caden and I are all just merely toys, chess pieces in her sick game that she calls love. If she loved me, she wouldn't have chosen the other two as well. Now is the time that I have decided that I Cory Copenhagen, does not love Hally Virginia Maloney. I care about her, sure, but I do not, and I repeat DO NOT, love her anymore.

Hally's POV
I cry into my pillow silently, making sure no one heard me. That didn't work very well because Finnick walked into the room. "Hally what's wrong? I heard you from next door." Finnick Sat next to me on the bed stroking my back.
"I don't know why I'm so emotional over something so little. He just got moody and now I'm sobbing over nothing. I get that hormones are gonna be pretty bad for the next couple of months but... I don't know... That just hurt." I said in between loud sobs. Finnick began to whisper hushed words of encouragement, "shhh don't worry. You'll get through this. I know you can."

After I sobbed for what felt like hours, which was actually minutes, Finnick broke the silence. "So um, did you tell him the news?" he asked uncomfortably.
"No... I couldn't... He would be heartbroken. Even Caden. I know, I know, it happened before... But it's different since they don't know you very well." I responded.
"Well when you do decide to tell them just know that I'll be here for you every step of the way." He smiled sheepishly.

*---*

I sat down at the breakfast table. I look over and smiled at Caden but he just took a brief glance towards my direction then rolled his eyes. What is up with these guys? Are they on their man period or something? Cause they're just as moody as a pubescent hormonal teenage boy.

I sigh then begin eating the breakfast that Cory made. I take a huge bite and immediately spit it out.
"Ewwwww why the hell is it so salty!!" I complained. Caden and Cory snicker at my outburst.
"What did you do to my pancakes" I asked furiously.
"Ahaha! That was... Me!!! Sorry about that munchkin!!!" He apologised sarcastically in between his laughter.
"Okay that's enough!!! What is up with you two? You've been constantly on my back ever since I came back. I'm sick of all this stuck up bull crap. Look, I don't know what I've done to upset you both, but I'm not a frickin mind reader!! So you better tell me and give me a good excuse on why you to have been acting like complete asses." I yelled.

"You don't know what you've done? Hah! YOU don't know what YOU'VE done? Really?" Caden scoffed.
"We know about the news. Don't try to beat around the bush. Don't try to wriggle your way out of it like a puny worm. Actually I'd like to see you try. I couldn't care less if you ate dirt like a puny worm anyway so ha!" Cory retorted.
"Okay, that worm bit was pretty weak Cory. You were going good til you said that" Caden murmured.
"What news? What? What are you talking about?" I asked unsurely.
"Oh so you're not gonna tell us the full story of what happened 10 months ago?" Caden stood in front of me, trying to intimidate me.
"Ummm what are you talking about?" I said nervously.
"Okay so you're telling us, that you didn't give birth to Finnick's child in jail couple of months ago?" Cory added.
"Did you really think we wouldn't find out? Do you think we're that stupid?" Caden asked furiously.
"You know I was walking past your bedroom on my way to do a doodoo when I heard you talking to your mother about your 9 month old baby. " Cory confessed
"Oh that news. I was more worried about you finding out about another one." I sighed.
"Yeah and about that 9-month old baby, it's actually two babies. She had twins - Africa and Asia. They're with her mum since its dangerous to illegally transport babies across the world" Finnick added.
"Wait whaaaaa" Cory's eyes were wide open with disbelief.
"Whats the other news then?" Caden said in a harsh tone.
"Oh yeah about that... I'm pregnant." I said rapidly. I covered my face so that I couldn't see their reactions.
"What!" Cory and Caden said in unison.
"Yeah..." I lowered my hands and looked at them with concern.
"Is that how Finnick knows? Is it because he's the father?" Caden yelled furiously.
"You may be wondering why we're so mad. But it's because you already had kids and about to have another one, with a guy you haven't knoawn for that long. Are you serious?" Cory said.
"Okay calm down..." I sighed.
"She only told me because she knew you guys would freak out like this." Finnick explained.
I took a deep breath before I spoke. "The thing is... I don't know who the father is..."
