talking heartbeats

I never heard silence
quite this loud.
Or maybe it's just me
who became deaf all of
a sudden.

I looked at you without
saying nothing,
but I never knew
we'd be talking using
our heartbeats.

All the noise, they quietly
disappeared.
We talked with no words,
nor hand signals,
but I know we both understood
what our hearts were talking
about.

Taking a step closer,
the feeling became deeper and
deeper.
Our hearts touched and it felt so
good.

smiling, you took the first
move and took out your
hand for a shake.
"Hi." One word and it
made the two of us
fall in the gravity of love.
