William was elegantly digging away at the spaghetti.
"So, how have you been practising Concertone for two violins?", William asked, wiping his mouth with a serviette.
"Doing pretty well", answered Helena.
"Perfect. Let's have a practise after this delicious dinner. Thanks for inviting me here by the way, it's beautiful."
"No need to thank me, it was my pleasure"

Jordan gripped his violin in his hand, hoping to play violin with Helena. His soccer match had been cancelled due to rain.
He stopped right in his tracks when he reached the music room door, only to find Helena with another boy, playing violin together.

"Work on that tremolo, make it more like...", William started to play the tremolo Helena had, "this."
"Yes. Of course, thanks", replied Helena.
"Let's go right from the top".

Jordan watched as Helena and the boy started playing a violin duet.
Jordan didn't know who the boy was, but he assumed it was the "William" Helena texted him about.
Nevertheless, he was jealous. He could feel the green Ivy of envy growing in him, leeching away at his compassion and love.
He was praying that Helena would never see him again, that he was just a short term friend.

"Helena is mine."

Jordan kept watching for any signs of attraction. To his distraught, there were.
Helena's eyes seemed to emit a sense of happiness while she played violin with him, a look she had never given Jordan, but maybe that's just because he was always too shy to look her in the eyes.
Helena was also constantly taking her eyes off the music sheet and giving flirty looks to William, who had his eyes closed while playing.
Jordan didn't want to admit it, but William's violin was amazing. His skill couldn't compare.
Helena wanted someone musical, and Jordan didn't fit that adjective.
