Anne put her slice of unfinished pizza back on her plate.
"I'm full! Let's go get ready now!", she said.Helena and Sally followed Anne upstairs to her bathroom.
Anne turned on her wireless music speaker, and went to her closet to change into her blue dress.
Helena and Sally we're in the bathroom helping each other do makeup before changing into their dresses.Anne and Sally went downstairs to pass time with piano, leaving Helena upstairs.
Helena was all prepared. She was going to dance with Jordan tonight, which brought a chill to her spine. She had never done ballroom dancing before.Helena walked up to the mirror and looked at herself. She was way beyond satisfied with the way she looked. Her turquoise coloured dress complimented her pride and confidence.
"You're going to dance with Jordan today Helena", she said to her reflection, "Make sure you do a good job."Anne's car stopped at Paper Street. Anne, Helena and Sally jumped off, excited for Junior Formal.
They reached the wonderfully decorated hall. It was filled with crystal chandeliers, orchestral music and royal curtains. The Event committee really went out of their way to decorate the hall for Junior Formal.Anne ran over to hug Liam, and Sally walked off to find Samuel. Helena couldn't see Jordan anywhere, so she kept walking around, hoping to find him.
"Helena?", a voice said.
Helena looked in the direction of the sound."Jordan..."
Words could not describe how handsome he looked. In fact, handsome didn't even come close to how he looked.
He wore a tuxedo, with a black bow tied around his neck. She could see a tailor-made classical blouse under his tuxedo. His pants were long, and she could visually see his gelled and combed fringe, saturating his dark eyes.
They walked towards each other. Jordan felt like he was about to die because Helena looked too beautiful."Sir", Helena elegantly bowed, holding the sides of her dress.
"Madame", Jordan held out his hand, bowing with grace.Helena chuckled. "Not that formal though, haha".
"Yeah, huh. You look...amazing...", Jordan complimented, stroking her hair.
"Aw Jordan, that's so sweet!"
"You're always beautiful to me Lena, no matter what"
"Jordan you're too nice...anyways, don't judge my dancing. I've never tried ballroom dancing before."
"Woah, I was just gonna say the same thing!"Helena and Jordan started giggling.
A bright spotlight shone towards the high stage, where the school leader of Precella Girls' made her speech.
"And with that said, may the 2017 Junior Formal Dance night commence!"
