"Jordan's parents told me that he has been arriving home around midnight lately. They're very concerned for him, and they think you should go talk it out with him today.", Helena's mum notified her.
"Oh, okay?", Helena said with a guilty tone. She knew she was doing the wrong thing, loving two boys at once.
"He's been strangely quiet these past two weeks. He's not being himself, and his parents have no idea what is bothering him"
Helena's mum parked the car."Hey Jordan! How have you been? I heard you were quiet and not being yourself, why is that?", Helena tried enthusiastically to say.
Jordan didn't say a word. He looked away.
Helena examined the look in his eye. They seemed depressed and hurt.
"Jordan, if you don't tell me, we can't help you. I can't help you.""Look. I'm sorry and everything, but how could you?", Jordan raised his voice.
"What did I do?", Helena tried to cover up.
"You cheated on me! I thought I was your boyfriend, but I guess not! Remember when you promised me you would never leave me? Well you did, and I've been heartbroken for the past two weeks"
"You were there?..."
"My soccer match had been cancelled, and I was already upset about that. I wanted to play violin with you, because we shared that hobby, but you invited William over. He's your boyfriend, I guess you love him more than me now!""Jordan, I was just scared that I would say the wrong thing...", Helena said, trying to hold her tears in.
"YES. BUT THAT WAS NOT THE FREAKIN' PROBLEM. THE PROBLEM WAS WHEN YOU SAID YOU NEVER COULD HAVE FOUND ANYONE ELSE WITH SUCH A TALENT AT VIOLIN. SO I GUESS WILLIAM IS BETTER THAN ME AFTER ALL!"
"JORDAN!"
"You lied to me. I thought you loved me Helena, you liar.""LISTEN TO ME!", Helena sobbed.
"I still love you. When I look at the anklet you gave me, it always makes me happy. I'm so sorry I broke your heart, but I promise, you will always be my one and only"
"I'm not sure about that.", Jordan sighed.
Helena wrapped her arms around Jordan. Jordan's tears started to fade away in her loving embrace."Why have you been returning home late?", Helena asked, concerned.
"Well...I think you know"
Jordan took off his jacket and revealed his t-shirt. It was ripped.
Helena couldn't believe what she learnt.
Jordan was the boy holding the vase yesterday. The one Helena fought with.
"I had nothing to do, so I followed my friends out for some street fighting with our rival gang ,followed by money stealing, but after hearing what you said yesterday, it made me reconsider what I was doing with my life..."
"Jordan, I beg you to never do that again. You could get in trouble and injured. Your family is worried about you. I forgive you, but just never do it again..."Helena once again pulled Jordan in for a sweet embrace, before placing a kiss on his cheek.
