Jordan kept watching William and Helena's violin duet. He was embodied with envy.
Jordan was starting to dislike the sound of violins. Each note bonding them together as Jordan's jealousy grew more and more.

The strings were speaking to him.

"Helena loves William, not you"
"You will never win Helena's heart"
"Dumb, idiotic, violinist wannabe"
"Keep dreaming, it will never happen"

Jordan kept fighting back in his head.
"It's not true! Helena does truly love me...
Right?..."

To Jordan's delight, the haunting strings finally stopped. The song finally ended.

"Helena, since we like each other...are we a thing now?", William asked, nervously shaking.
"Ahaha...Of course William!", Helena replied, blushing.

Jordan was absolutely furious.
He was known for being a good person, but right now, he wanted to murder William without mercy.

"Am I your first boyfriend?", William questioned.
"Yes you are. I could never have found anyone else with such an amazing talent at violin", answered Helena.

After hearing those words, Jordan felt weak and betrayed.
He would never be as good as William.
He would never catch up because violin was so hard for him.
He just didn't have the passion to play like William.

Helena didn't and would never love him.

Jordan left the corridor, his face soaked in heartbroken tears.
He went outside, his violin still in his hand, and tightened his grip.

He slammed the violin onto the concrete pavement at full force. The strings and wooden debris scattered all around the area. Then, still enraged, he lifted up his foot and stomped the remaining chunk of violin, crushing it into tiny pieces.
His hands were bleeding, but they felt like nothing compared to his heartache.
He shoved his bow against the brick wall until it no longer looked like something used to play an instrument, then tossed it into the garbage bin.

He went home with not only bleeding hands, but also a bleeding heart.
