"I'm home!", Helena said happily.
Her dad was sitting on the couch. He turned his eyes to Helena, and Helena knew he was angry.
"Do you even know what the time is?!", Helena's Dad shouted, "It's 2 AM! And you were definitely not out with your friends, don't lie to me Helena, tell me who you were out with?"
"I WAS out with my friends!"
"I called Anne's mum at 12 am midnight because you still weren't home, and she said there was no party. Anne was sound asleep in her room."
Helena didn't know what to say. Her dad always got the answers he wanted.
"Were you out with a boy?", Helena's dad asked strictly.
"Yes...But I really love him. It's true love!", Helena answered.
"Was it Jordan?"
"No, it's a boy from my Project-Hearts group named William..."
"HELENA, ME AND YOUR MOTHER ARE TAKING AWAY YOUR PRIVILEGES FOR INFORMAL DAYS AND NIGHTS
OUT. YOUR PHONE WILL ALSO BE CONFISCATED!"
Helena knew what that meant. The next and last time she could see William was at their group's sausage sizzle.
"DAD, BUT I REALLY LOVE HIM!"
"SHUT IT! THE ONLY BOYS I WANT YOU TO HANG AROUND IS JORDAN."
"BUT DAD, I LOVE WILLIAM TOO!"
"DON'T 'BUT' ME HELENA! GO TO YOUR ROOM, NOW!"
Helena shoved her bag and jumped onto the bed, crying with madness.
She took out the violin bow William gave her, and put it next to her pillow as she cried herself to sleep.
