Helena took her bow off of her violin strings. She threw a look at Jordan, who was staring at her. The claps of the audience sounded blurred as she stared into his deep brown eyes.
When the clapping began to subside, Helena started to walk backstage."Hey Helena, I almost forgot to tell you something", Jordan whispered.
"What is it?", Helena answered, blushing slightly.
"I play violin too, but I don't even come close to your skill level".
Helena was surprised. She knew Jordan for four years, but he only told her now? Helena started thinking of all the questions she wanted to ask him.
"Is it alright if you teach me some violin during free time?", asked Jordan, his voice shaking shyly.
"Yes, of course!", Helena answered happily, before picking up her violin case and walking out the church door.Helena's eyes were looking outside her car window. She wasn't paying attention to the houses or trees, all she could see was Jordan's gorgeous face looking back at her.
Helena never admitted it to anyone, but she had a crush on Jordan. A huge crush.
They get to meet each other every Sunday at church. Helena let out a high pitched fangirl squeal at the thought of it.
"Thinking about Jordan again?", Helena's mum asked, to which Helena replied with a lie, "no...".Helena continued her romantic daydreaming until she reached her house. The garage door opened, snapping Helena out of her trance.
The first thing Helena did when she got home was text Anne. She rushed for her phone so quickly that she dropped her violin case on the garage steps.
Her mum was screaming about what would happen if her 10,000 dollar violin bow broke, but Helena was in such a hurry that she couldn't think about it.
She wrote to Anne about the news, and added a bit of fangirling into her texts. Anne casually replied with support for Helena.Anne was Jorlena's number one fan. She drew pictures, wrote fanfics, and even wrote a song for the two. She was the only person Helena felt confident talking about Jordan to.
Helena was called downstairs to pack her bag for school tomorrow, of which she replied "in a minute mum!", with her eyes still glued to her phone screen.
