Anne greeted Helena with the usual hug in the morning. Helena was happy to see her friend after what felt like a suspiciously long weekend.
"Good progress with your Jordan", Anne proudly complimented. Helena rolled her eyes, trying hard to hide her blushing cheeks.
"You too, with your Liam", Helena countered.
Anne started laughing hysterically, before her friend Sally came over and pulled her into their classroom, just in time for form assembly.

Helena texted Anne before getting caught by her teacher.
Form assembly was swiftly finished, only to be followed by a year 8 level meeting.

Mrs Aster, the coordinator of Year 8, made the usual announcements of keeping lockers clean and tables graffiti free. A guest speaker was invited to the small stage.
Her name was Amanda, worker for the Global Anti-Hunger Charity. Students from their school were allowed to sign up and participate in a Money raising project named Project-Hearts.
Students who have been chosen will be randomly put into groups with a group from another school that was also participating in the project.

"Very interesting idea", Helena thought to herself.
She thought about the suffering children of Africa, and how they were malnourished.
It could've been her. Everyone should get equal chances at life.
Helena knew for sure that she was going to put her name down, first thing at lunch.

"It's great to know my friend is willing to help others in need!", Anne complimented Helena again, "Very proud of you Lena!".
Helena politely thanked her, before closing her locker and carrying her violin off to the Music Center.
Anne walked off with Sally, who was eating a ham sandwich.
"Your cousin is great!", Anne said in a light tone, "she cares so much about everyone!".
"Yeah, but that's what you think. She could be a wolf in sheep's clothing", Sally said in a dull voice.

Anne never thought about that. Helena would never lie, not to her.
Anne shook the thought out of her mind, and started at her Nutella sandwiches.
