Frisk's POV:
I woke up slowly and groggily, my wrists stinging a little bit. Slowly I remembered what happened, and found myself jolting up and looking around frantically. My eyes slowly adjusted to the blinding, blank terrain around me.
"Y-Y-You're up." The same glitchy voice as before spoke, and I stood up to face him.
"Who are you?" I demanded.
"The n-name's E-E-Error." He lent a hand.
I didn't take it, "You need to take me back home. My daughter--"
"Y-Y-You have Sans t-to do that. A-A-And n-not that you can d-d-do much now."
I frowned and continued, "You can't just take me from my home! You can get arrested! There will be people looking for me!"
"N-N-No one can f-find you here. T-T-This place is o-off the grid."
"Error!" A third voice entered the argument. I turned to see who it was and saw another Sans.
"What is happening right now. . ." I asked no one in particular.
"We talked about this!" He stomped one foot down, crossing his arms, looking both displeased and upset.
"S-S-Sans, p-please. You're g-g-going home soon, w-why would you care?" He narrowed his eye sockets at the other Sans, who ruffled his scarf a little bit.
"You've been saying that for what I can only assume is a year now! You have to stop this, Error! This is wrong! You're tearing people from families, from friends, from their lives!"
Error laughed, his laughter glitching a little bit, "And so? I'm giving her a break." He gestured towards me.
"I need to get back to my family!" I took a few steps towards him.
"See?" The other Sans used dramatic hand gestures.
Error rolled his eyes and walked away and up a few steps, "I'll be back later. Don't do anything stupid."
He disappeared, leaving just a few strings dangling in the air.
"I'm sorry about him," The blue Sans said, "He doesn't really understand us."
"Us?"
He titled his head to the side a little bit, "The AU's. He's never really had a family. He doesn't understand how bad this really is to the families, especially to the people he takes."
"AU's?" I asked, frowning deeply.
He stopped walking around and looked me straight in the eye, "Where are you from?"
"What do you mean?"
"What's the name of your AU?" He almost cut me off.
"The name of--What are you talking about?" I could feel myself getting flustered.
This Sans also started frowning, "Do you know someone named Ink?"
"I don't any Inks."
He sighed and shook his head, "What happened in your timeline?"
"Timeline?"
"What's happened where you've come from?" He translated for me.
"Uh, well I fell down Mount Ebbot because some of my ex-friends pushed me down, I got saved by the Sans who I am now married to multiple times, we had a child, the barrier was broken down by humans because they figured out how wrong they were trapping the monsters down there. I-Is that what you're asking?" I tried my best to explain what had happened.
He nodded and then started to pace, thinking about something.
"Why do you ask?"
"Because being stuck with Error for a year means that he's told me a lot of different AU's, their stories, where they fit in, why they were created, how often Ink visits those AU's, and other stuff like that. He's never told me a story like the one that you told me, not with those specific events," He suddenly stopped pacing, his pupil's shrinking.
"The abandoned timelines."
"What?" I was beyond confused at this point and mildly scared by whatever he was talking about.
"You've never heard or met anyone named Ink. He would have looked like Sans. Are you sure?" Sans got really intense questioning me.
"N-No, I would have remembered a skeleton named Ink who looked like my husband. That's not something that happens every day."
"Do you have glitches in your timeline?"
"Glitches? No. Everything has been pretty much normal. Up until now." I added.
He nodded slowly, putting his hands behind his back, beginning to pace again.
"Do you know of any powers that you may have? Like, super strength? Mind reading? Anything like that?"
"Superpowers? What are you talking about?" I shouted a little.
"Okay. You don't know anything. So I have no idea why Error would have taken you. But I will explain since if you're from an abandoned timeline, you really need to know."
Sans' POV:
I walked into the house and saw towels all over the floor.
"Frisk?" I called, confused.
"She isn't home, dad," Edith replied, coming out from her room.
I frowned a little bit, "She isn't home?"
"The tap was on when I got back. She also dropped her phone. Did she call you? Text you? I couldn't find a note." Edith now made her way downstairs, still holding a pencil and USB drive.
"I didn't get any messages," I pulled my phone out quickly and double checked, to no avail.
"Do you think she's okay?" Worry was the only tone in her voice.
"I-I don't know, Edith."
