Frisk's POV:

I had apparently fallen asleep for a few hours after the fight and separation with Sans and I woke up feeling oddly rested. I looked to my side and found the covers undisturbed. Maybe Sans had done the smart thing and gone over to his brother's since the house was under my name.

I sighed and shook my head, anger already welling in my chest. I grabbed my phone and quickly dialed up Papyrus, making sure that Sans was okay. I didn't really care, but I wanted to make sure the father of my child hadn't gotten arrested or something.

"Hello?" He asked from the other end, sounding groggy.

"Hey, Papyrus, did Sans come over last night?" I ask him, trying to sound awake.

"No, he didn't stop by," I could hear a faint clanging, "Why?"

"Oh, well, him and I had. . . Had a fight, and we, um. . . We might be getting a divorce, b-but I just wanted. . . I just wanted to know if he was okay, even though. . ."

Papyrus was silent for a few seconds, presumably shocked. But he eventually mumbled, "Ask Grillby. He's closer to him than me."

He hung up before I could reply, and I shrugged, blaming his temper on his work load. I stood up from on the bed and quickly got changed into an outfit a lot like yesterday's, heading out without eating. That small conversation had gotten me on edge.

I made it to Grillby's quickly, pretty much running to the restaurant. I went and stood in between the stool bars, standing on my toes to try and look into the back area. Grillby walked around the corner and I flattened my feet, trying to smile at him.

"Hello, Frisk. What can I help you with?" He sounded a little concerned.

"Did Sans come here last night?" I got to the point.

"Yes, he did. He was talking to a strange skeleton if that's what you were about to ask. His name was Error, I think."

I felt my heart and stomach drop, "Error? Did he take Sans out of here? D-Did anything bad happen?"

Grillby shook his head, "No, they just left together. Error was talking about some team that he was gathering, and how Sans had chosen him over some other 'back stabbers' as he said. I think Sans went with him."

My hands shook with anger, "T-Thank you, Grillby."

I turned around to leave but stopped, glancing over my shoulder as Grillby asked, "Did you and Sans fight, Frisk?"

I nodded, and he continued, "I think that he's already made his choice, then."

I gave Grillby a strange look for that comment but then ended up nodding instead.

"I know he has."

I pushed the door open and stepped outside, breathing in the cool morning air. I stared at the sky for a few seconds before I took my phone out, calling up Ink.

"Ink, where are you?" I ask him as he picks up.

"I'm just in UnderSwap. Blue needed to talk to me. What's up?"

I paused for a moment, kicking the ground a little bit, "Sans is with Error, he's gone to his side. He's. . . He's a traitor."

There was a shocked silence from Ink.

"I'm. . . I'm sorry that happened to you, Frisk."

"We fought before he left. I'm sure that was the plan all along, though. I bet he. . . I bet this whole thing was a setup. God, if this was a setup, if Edith was put in cross fire, I'll--!" I slowly raised my voice, feeling angrier and angrier as I went on.

"Frisk, that doesn't matter. The traitor is gone, which means that you and Edith are a little safer. Just make sure that everything works out with him going missing, and that Edith is safe. I'll be there in an hour."

I sighed, "Okay. See you then."

Sans' POV:

"I guess that's decided for me, then." I shook my head a little bit, walking away from the small portal Error had made so we could eavesdrop.

"See, Sans? I wouldn't lie to you. She doesn't trust you, and neither does Ink. They might never have trusted you." He suggested.

I put on a strange expression and said in a low tone, "They did. But they don't, not now. So. . . I guess that means. . . That I have to trust you. You want revenge on Ink and his crew, right?" I turned to face Error a little bit, my posture strained.

"Yes, that is why I recruited you."

I put my head down a little bit, glaring daggers at the wall, "And Ink ruined her. He pretty much turned her on me, with his lies. So I supposed that means. . . I want revenge too."

I could see Error smiling out of my peripheral, "Yes, I suppose it does."

I turned to face him fully, "Time to tell me the plan, then."
