Sans' POV:

I turned around and headed out the door again, shaking my head, tears filling my eye sockets. I had said it, I had finally said it. But I didn't expect it to be said back to me. I didn't expect it to hurt so much, especially since I had stopped falling for her a while ago.

But it hurt like hell, it hurt even more than when I had lost Chara. And that hurt worse than hell.

I walked into Grillby's, teleporting there. I sat on the bar stools, Grillby walking over.

"Sans, are you alright? This isn't your usual hour." He greeted me.

"I don't want to talk about it. Just. . . Give me a drink, please."

Grillby gave me a concerned look but I ignored it, my shoulder slumped forward, my face down in an almost glare.

"Not h-h-having a good day?" Error walked up and sat beside me, the restaurant now filled with an uncomfortable chatter.

"What the hell do you think?" I growled.

He smiled, I could see it from my peripheral, "So, you chose m-m-my side and not the back stabber's s-side?"

I nodded, "I finally told her."

He nodded slowly, "T-T-That's good. Not t-taking it too well?"

Grillby slid the drink to me, giving Error a skeptical look. He waved for a drink too and Grillby walked off to get another one. He looked at me with an almost sympathetic look.

"Well, I'm g-gathering a team, to t-t-take back some power. And not a lot of people want to j-j-join. Would you l-like to be the f-f-first?"

I thought about it, "Would you leave my friends and family alone?"

"Oh, y-y-yeah. Now, I can't make any p-promises for Nightmare. But he's n-n-not really with me, a-anymore. He's gone l-l-lone wolf."

There seemed like there was something wrong in this story; like he was hiding something. But I was too sad and too angry to care. And I wanted to help him out. He seemed like the manipulated underdog, which was something I could understand. And he wanted revenge, something I could also understand.

"Yeah, I'll join your team, then."

Error raised his glass to the skies, which I also did, "T-T-That's something I c-can drink to."

We both threw our drinks back and Error instructed me to follow him, which I did. I was already a bit tipsy, but it wasn't too bad. He opened a portal, which looked a little daunting, but he explained to me this is where the other team members gathered and that he had somewhere for me to stay in "his realm".

I jumped through and he followed, telling me he'd come and get me for a team meeting once everything was ready and there were a few members. I nodded, trusting him, examining the room around me.

Then I realized, I had just joined a team where I would be working against my ex-wife and our daughter. I turned around to call this off, for Error to take me home, for this to be over before it was too late, but he was already gone.

I looked around for a door and then realized; there was no door. He really meant it when he said he would come and get me.

Regret filled my soul and I started panicking a little bit, regretting this decision in a huge way. But, I would have to wait, for Error to return. And then I would fix things.

I hope.

A/N: I am sorry I'm not sorry.

And don't worry, this'll back fire. Getting excited for the finale?
