"Dream?" Ink suddenly came into the scene, appearing from behind a tree.

"Ink!" He squealed, running over and hugging the skeleton, lifting him off the ground a little bit.

"W-What are you doing here?" Ink seemed shocked to see this skeleton.

"What am I not doing here? I finally got out of the situation with--um, you know that situation--and now I'm here! Because Nightmare is being annoying." He sounded like a brother would.

"So. . . Do you know what he's doing, and why?" Ink and him continued the conversation, virtually forgetting that I was standing a few feet away from them, a bit traumatized.

"I have no clue, but I will find out, and I will stop him." Dream sounded determined.

Ink nodded, seeming deep in thought for a moment before he noticed me looking very confused and still incredibly scared.

"Frisk! I am so sorry!" Ink trotted over, looking into my eyes.

"I-I'm fine, j-j-just a bit shook, t-that's all," I explained, still shivering from Nightmare being that close to me, that close to killing me.

"We need to get you home right now," Ink glanced over his shoulder at Dream, looking for some sort of backup or information.

Dream looked to the side a little bit, staring into space for a second before saying, "It might not be safe."

"That's more reason to go to her timeline, Dream," Ink walked towards him now, me following, "She has a family now, Dream. We need to not only protect her but her family."

"FRIIIIISSSSSKKKKK!" I heard someone scream.

"Over here!" I called, now very serious.

I heard the distance screams come closer and the Sans in this timeline ran into the clearing, accidentally body checking me, landing beside me.

"FRISK! THANK GOD YOU'RE OKAY!" Sans freaked out, hugging me.

"Okay, yeah, I missed you too Sans, c-can you let me go? This snow is kind of cold, you know." I told him awkwardly, him letting go and both of us standing up.

Papyrus, Alphys, and Undyne strolled into the clearing, looking around.

"OH, WH--WHY ARE THERE NOW TWO VERSIONS OF MY BROTHER IN THIS TIMELINE?" Papyrus sounded distressed.

"Welcome to my world," I sighed, laughing.

Papyrus gave me a strange look and I looked away from him, back to Ink and Dream. They spoke in a low tone.

"Dream, we can't let her stay here. This timeline is already in danger with what happened with Blue, and what just happened now is only. . ." Ink rubbed his forehead for a moment, "She can't stay here. And we can protect her timeline if need be."

"Ink, my brother is on the loose. I need to track him down and stop him. You would be on your own with your personal mission." Dream sounded almost angry.

"I will do that. I've done it before. But I need to know that you and the crew have the Nightmare situation under control." The skeleton frowned, somehow, looking beyond serious.

"Ink, he's my brother. I will help him, even if that means that I have to disarm him."

I frowned at that comment, trying to think of what that could possibly mean besides. . . hurt. . .

Ink sighed and broke the intense eye contact between the two, walking towards me, "Ready to go home?"

I chuckled, "I was ready the second I left."
