I woke up to gray clouds polluting the sky like tainted water, along with slight pumping of Jeff's heart. My hearing had increased as I had to sneak around for these few weeks.

i stood up, ignoring the imense thumping in my skull and walked down stairs.. I couldn't not hear footsteps, but I knew Jeff was following right behind me. I could feel my body was heavier, and I was right. on my skin lay a balck, ruffled dress with lace a strings all over it.

"I found it in your closet and wanted to see it on you." he mumbled behind me. His pale face held two pools of red upon his cheeks. I smiled.

Turning around, I quickly grabbed his hand and intertwined my fingers in his. They were bony, but strangely warm. He didn't show a face of displeasure, so I assumed he was alright with it and dragged him down the rest of the stairs and plopped onto the couch.

"You're a slob." He said under his breath. I angrily squeezed his hand; "am not!" I retorted, before looking around the room and noticing a mess of books, clothes, food wrappers, hair pins, etc. "Oh..." I giggled, ignoring his obvious hint to let go of him and clean up a little. There was no way I was going to mess up this opportunity to be with my dear, this is one of those times when he didn't push me away.

"We can clean together, okay? But not now! Lets just enjoy this solitude."

His eyes looked down to mine as I laid my head in his lap. Gentle fingers brushed the hair in my face, behind my ears. A smile formed upon his tattered lips. "Okay, Amelia."

My heart skipped a beat hearing him say my name. The gruffness of his voice made my cheeks warm and pink. I was falling in love with a killer, and I was pretty sure he was falling in love with me.
