Chapter 5: morning chats and crashes

Ally's P.O.V

I wake up in the morning in my own bed and Ryan on the floor with a blanket and pillow. I don't remember anything after hanging with the guys and kissing Ryan. I reach up to touch my lips just to bring back memories from the kiss. I grab my phone and see tons of twitter notifications. Some of them were:

When I saw Ryan's post I couldn't stop smiling. He's so sweet and so cute. Hell maybe my dad was right maybe I do like Ryan. Just as I was thinking I saw Ryan beginning to stir and wake up."morning blaney" I say with a smirk. "Good morning beautiful" he says and causes me to blush and I try to hide it. "Beautiful don't try covering up when u blush it lets me know I'm doing something right" he says getting up and sitting on the bed trynna get my hands away from my face. "Ry how did I get here last night?" I asked. "Well once the guys left me and you went to lay on a blanket to look at the stars and I looked over at you and you were asleep so I carried you to my truck and drove us back here and put you in the bed and I decided to crash here just cause it was so late. Hope you don't mind" he said. "Ryan your welcome to stay over anytime you want. My dad likes u and I do too and you shouldn't have slept in the floor you could've sleep in my bed with me I don't mind. Plus I like waking up and seeing this ryan" I say referring to him being shirtless. "Hahn your so funny" he says then next he attached his lips to mine which was something I wasn't expecting but, he had this affect on me that made me kiss back. We pull away with huge smiles on both of our faces. I look at the time and my eyes immediately go wide. "What's wrong? Was it me? I knew I should've kissed you I just screwed everything u-" I cut him off " no Ry you didn't screw up anything. In fact you just made everything better but me and you have to qualify in 40 minutes and our crew chiefs are gonna be pissed if we ain't in the garages in 10 minutes" I say. "Shit. Okay I'll see you later babe I'm go get ready. See you at qualifying. Do good." He says and then put  his shirt back on and kissed me once more and left to go to his motor home.

"Your late sanders" mark says "by 5 minutes" I defend myself. " whatever so nothing seems bad we haven't changed anything since yesterday's practice so you should be good to go" mark says.

*skip to qualifying*

First round: me 4th, Ryan 5th, chase 1st, Erik 9th

Second round: me 3rd, Ryan 2nd, chase 1st, Erik 7th 

During the third round of qualifying the worst thing happened. Ryan and Kyle Busch were the only two that hadn't gone out yet with 1:15 left on the clock. So they both decided to go as they came across the start Finsh line almost together when Kyle Busch got into Ryan sending him into the wall and eventually into the fence. "RYANN" I yell as I'm by my car hoping his window net comes down. But it never does I try to run out onto the track but I feel a pair of arms around my waist that hold me back. I immediately recognized it was chase. Eventually I'm tired of struggling and I just cry and hold onto chase and just sink down the pit wall. "Ally.." I feel chase tap me on the shoulder. "Al there taking him to the hospital. I can drive you since our spots are already locked in." Chase asked. "Yes. Thank you." I say I've stopped crying by now.

When we get there me and chase run to the lady at the desk. "Ma'am I'm looking for Ryan Blaney." I say out of breath. " I'm sorry miss he is in surgery right now I will notify you and your boyfriend here when he gets out. The rest of the family is over there" she says pointing to Emma, Erin, Dave and Lisa Blaney. "Thank you ma'am and he's not my boyfriend." I say. Me and chase walk over to the blaney's. " oh my gosh. Allison sanders. It's been forever. How have you been? It's terrible we had to reunite on such terrible standards." Dave says. "Hello Mr.Blaney. I've been better than this moment. Me and Ryan have gotten really close in these last couple days I just can't believe that this happened." I say beginning to tear up. " hey ally can we talk in private for a sec just me and you" Emma asked. I agreed and we walked over to another part of the waiting area. "Are u okay? Did u and Ryan finally get together?" She asked. "I'm kinda shakey. Me and Ryan were out last night on the beach with Erik,chase and bubba and I was dared to kiss someone and I chose Ryan and something happened we both felt something. This morning I woke up and me and him talked and he called me beautiful and we kissed again. I was planning on asking him to go out to eat after the xfinty race tonight to see if it led anywhere." I say tearing up. "It's gonna be okay. He'll make it through this and I know he feels the same way about you girly don't worry." Emma says reassuringly. We walked back over to the group and I sat down next to chase and Emma. I kept bouncing my legs up and down anxiously. " he's gonna be okay. I promise" chase says as he pulls me into a hug. " family of Ryan Blaney" we hear a nurse yell.
