Ally's P.O.V
"Hey bud. Congrats on the pole." Ryan greets Erik as we walk up to the cook out. "Thanks Blaney. Hey Ally." Erik says kind of diverting Ryan. "Um..hey Erik congrats." I say a little unsure of why he just tried to avoid Ryan. Out of the corner of my eye I see Ryan getting a little tense. "I'm go find Kaylie. I'll talk to you later Erik." I say to the two boys. I walk off and try to find Kaylie before things get anymore awkward.
"Kaylieeeeee" I yell as I run and jump on her back. "Well hello to you too." She says laughing as I get off her back. "How are you doing it been a while?" I ask. "It's been okay. Erik has sorta been a little reserved lately but I've asked him and he just says he's fine. Other than that I'm doing fantastic. How about you girly." She states. I debate in my head if I should tell Kaylin bout Erik just a couple minutes ago. I decide to shake it off. "Never been better."
"Hey chase" I yell as I see him walk towards us and as he gets closer I realized that he had a girl with him. "Hey ally. This is Taylor. Taylor this is ally." He says gesturing to me. "I can tell I'm already gonna like you. Finally another girl to hang out with besides kaylie and Amanda." I laugh as I shake Taylor's hand. "Chase I told me a lot about you. Some bad but mostly good." She says laughing. "Your gonna be the death of me Elliott, already making me seem bad." I say shaking my head. All of us begin to laugh and Ryan walks up and wraps his arm around my waist. "Hey ry. This is Taylor. Taylor this is my boyfriend Ryan." I say introducing the two. "Nice to meet you." Ryan says greeting her with a handshake. "Pleasure is all mine" She says. "Your polite and you date that idiot. You do know that he still wets his bed." Ryan whispers the last part to Taylor and us 3 all begin to laugh. "Blaney. I'm going to kill you." Chase says through gritted teeth. "Babe I'm going to run. See you later" Ryan says giving me a kiss on the cheek before he begins to run from Chase. "Don't hurt his pretty face. I love it too much." I yell as they run off. Me and Taylor and sitting there dying of laughter. "They are too goofy." She says. "Trust me you have no idea. Come on while those too are trying to kill each other I'll introduce you to the rest of the crew." I say as we walk towards the rest of the group sitting there eating. "Hey guys this is Taylor. Chase brought her but he's a little to busy messing with Blaney to introduce her." I say and everyone follows me and Taylor in laughter. "Well it's nice to finally have another girl around." Amanda says. "Hey! What about me?" I speak. "You spend more time with the guys then with us." Kaylie says. "Only cause I race with them on weekends." I say pretending to be mad. "Wait. You race?!?" Taylor says shocked. "Yeah. I run the 23 Red Bull chevy for Hendricks motor sports in the cup series full time and I race the 7 for jr. motor sports sometimes when Justin Allgier doesn't in the Xfinity series."(Just for the plot of the story. Ik he's full time Xfinity for JRM) I tell her. "That's awesome. I love that. I used to run locally down on dawsonville. That's how me and chase met." She says. "Yesss. Finally another girl who races." I say. "Hey!!!" Amanda and Kaylie pretend to be offended. "Oh chill." I say and we all laugh.
Eventually Ryan and chase come back and everyone is setting up for the outdoor movie. Chase and Ryan are trying to set up the screen, bubba and Erik setting up the projecter, me and Amanda setting up chairs and blankets and Kaylie and Taylor fixing snacks. "So do you like Taylor?" I ask Amanda. "Yeah. Any friends of chases is a friend of mines. And she seems really cool." She says. "Yeah. That what I thought too." I say and we find setting up the blankets and chairs and a couple of air Mattresses.
Everyone is eventually done and we begin to sit down. Me and Ryan shared a couple of bean bags, Chase and Taylor were sitting next to us in chairs, Amanda and bubba were on the air mattress cause they intend on spending the night out here and Erik and Kaylie were in beach chairs with blankets. Ryan pressed play on the movie and we watched Cars 3 because half of us haven't seen it yet cause of the race schedules.
About half way through the movie I noticed Taylor was asleep in Chase's arms. I smiled at the thought of chase being happy again with someone since Kaylie. It has been nearly 8 months since they broke up. "What you thinking babe?" Ryan whispers in my ear so that he doesn't wake up Taylor or Kaylie and Erik who have also fallen asleep. "I'm just so happy for Chase. He deserves happiness. I know he had happiness with K but I also knew it hurt him seeing her and Erik together for a couple months after they broke up. " i sigh in contentment. " Yeah. Finally he won't be up my ass 24/7." He says with a chuckle. "Stop it. You know you love him to death." I chuckle and playfully smack his chest.
Cars 3 eventually finishes and Ryan, Amanda, bubba and me are still up. "Do y'all want to watch another movie cause it looks like we are all gonna be out here all night?" Bubba asks. "Yeah why not." We all day in unison. "Okay we are all too close." Ryan laughs. We all agree on Days of Thunder. "I love moments like this." I say "me too." Ryan says. "I love you Ry." I say as I snuggle into him. "I love you too Allison." He says and gives me a Kiss.
