Chapter 10: Kentucky break-ups

Third- person narrator

Things have been great between Ryan and ally. After that storm at Daytona they eventually ran the race but it wasn't till Tuesday. Luckily no one was hurt but some of the haulers weren't so lucky.  They are now headed to Kentucky and super excited for another race weekend.

Ally's P.O.V

"Ry, wake up were in Kentucky" I say shaking him awake. "But I wanna cuddle" he says sleepily pulling me back down on to the bed with him. I let out a chuckle. "Babe if your gonna run in Xfinty this weekend you have to get up and go to opening practice" I say. "I'm up!!!" He yells running trying to find his fire suit and going to the bathroom to change. "I'll see later baby. Love you!" He says giving me a kiss and running out the door to make it to practice on time. I laugh at his forgetfulness. I decide that i'll go hang out with chase since he's only running cup this weekend.

I begin walking to his camper and right before I knock kaylie comes running out crying. " K, what's wrong?!" I asked worried. "Chase snapped at me when I asked him if he was running in the truck race this weekend and then he called me clingy" she says clinging onto me. I wanted to walk through that RV and punch chase. But if I did that I'd have Ryan mad at me. "Kaylie, you can go to my camper if you'd like but I'm go talk to chase because this doesn't sound like him and I wanna know what's up. I know you love him" I say. "Did" she croaked out. "Did what?" I asked afraid I already knew. "I DID love him but lately our relationship hasn't been like it used to be. I've sorta lost some feeling for him. I'm scared to tell him and hurt him. I still wanna be his friend like I have been forever but I just don't really wanna continue in a relationship" she says. "Well how bout we go in here and face him together and if you don't wanna date him anymore chase is the type of person who would understand K." I say. "Okay Ally. Thank you." Kaylie speaks wiping away her tears.

We walk in and I see chase sitting against the couch crying his eyes out. "Chase" I say in a whisper. He looks up at me and kaylie. "Kaylie I'm so sorry I don't know what came over me. I'm so sorry for what I said" he says getting up hugging kaylie. "I forgive you chase but your about to be pissed at me again" kaylie says not looking him in the eyes. "What do u mean?" He asks. "Chase. I haven't felt the connection that we did have. I still have feelings for you but only as my friend. I'm so sorry chase. I think we should break up." Kaylie says on the verge of tears. "Kaylie. I feel the same. I love you but only as a friend. I wanna be there for you and everything like before I just don't think it should be in a relationship but in a friendship" he says with a smile on his face. They hug and kiss one more time. "Damn...I'm gonna miss that" chase says and we all chuckle. "Thanks Al. I couldn't had done with out you girly" kaylie says pulling me into a hug. "No problem. I'm glad to see my 2 best friends are okay and happy." I say. We begin talking and we all decide to watch Netflix because there was nothing else better to do.

About halfway through the 2nd episode of criminal minds. I get a text from Ryan.

Blaney☺️❤️:where are you babe?

Allison🐳: in chase's RV with him and K.

Blaney☺️❤️: how long have you been with the lovey-Dovey couple? Are they holding you hostage? Blink twice for help😂

Allison🐳: There just friends now. Chase made K mad and then when they made up she told him she didn't feel the same love anymore and the feeling was mutual so They decided it would be better if they were just friends and I came over here when You came to practice.

Blaney☺️❤️: okay. I wanna take you out on a date tonight. Dress nice I'll pick you up at the RV at 7?

Allison🐳: okay babe. See you then😘

Blaney☺️❤️: I love you baby❤️. See you then😘

I pull Kaylie off the couch. "Hey!!" Chase says. " I'm stealing you bestie. She needs to help me get ready for a date." I say. "Ughhhhhh"Chase groans. "Grow up Elliott" I say and flip him off as Kaylie pushes me out the door. "How'd you date him for 19 months?!" I ask. "Patience. Lots and lots of patience" she says and we laugh.

When we get to mine and Ryan's RV Kaylie has a great suggestion. "I have a dress for your date. It would look beautiful on you. I'm go get it meanwhile you should text the girls and have them come over to help you get ready." Kaylie says. "Great idea" I say. Kaylie leaves to go get the dress and I text the girls.

Allison🐳:heyyyyyy! Can you y'all come over and help me get ready for my date late cause I have no idea how to do my hair or makeup?

DeLana🦋: on my way girly!😉

Amanda😋:your hair is so not ready for me!!🤣 and bubba owes me $20😂

Danica🌸: Blaney finally asked you on a date i see😂☺️

Allison🐳:thanks girls!! You beted on me Amanda? 😂

I turned on some music through the speakers and waited till Kaylie, Danica, Amanda, and DeLana came to my hauler.
