Chapter 12: Broken Phones and Birthday Plans

Ryan's P.O.V

I hear my alarm go off and I know I have to get up. "Good morning babe." Ally says and I turn to face her. "Good morning." I say giving her a kiss. "I'm excited to watch you run Xfinty tonight." She says playing with my hair. God I love this girl. She's the best thing that's ever happened to me. I can't help but smile at my thoughts. "Why are you smiling so big?" She asks breaking me out of my thoughts. "Just wondering how lucky I got so lucky." I say playing with her hair. "I love you Ryan. I'm the lucky one." She says. I just smile and pull her into my chest. " I love you so much more than you'll ever know ally." I say and we go back to sleep for a couple more minutes.

Ally's P.O.V

After me and Ryan fell back asleep my alarm goes off about 20 minutes later. "Shut up. Damnit!!!!" I yell and throw my phone across the room. Ryan wakes up when my phone hits the wall. "Yeah. Show that phone who's boss." Ryan says with a chuckle. "Well it wouldn't shut up." I say with a 'duh' look on my face. I get up to get my phone. "Shit. Shit. Turn on damnit!!!!" I say pushing the lock button and home button trying to get it to come on. "Great!" I say rolling my eyes. "What's wrong babe?" Ryan says wrapping his arms around my waist from behind. "My phone is broken and won't turn on. So far waking up to you is the only good thing this morning but that's all I need to be happy." I say turning around giving him a kiss. "I love you." He says. " I love you more but if you don't start getting ready your gonna be late for qualifying." I say getting out of his grasp and grabbing clothes to go change before qualifying. I decide to put my hair in a ponytail and doing light make up.

I walk out of the bathroom and see Ryan sitting on the couch in his fire suit ready to go qualify. "You know that fire suit makes you look ten times sexier that you already are." I say with a chuckle. "Why thank you madam you look amazing yourself." He says giving me a kiss and holding my hand as we head out to qualifying.

"Why haven't you been answering me I've been texting you all morning!!" Amanda says running up to me. I pull out my phone and show her. "Oh. Never mind. What happened?" She asked. "Never set an alarm and throw it at a wall to get it to shut up. Looks like my birthday present to my self is a new phone. Yayyyyy" I say with heavy sarcasm at the end. "Oh yeah. You turn 22 next Saturday." She say nudging me. "Yeah but honestly I forget my own birthday sometimes it's not really anything special In my eyes." I say as I shrug my shoulders. " alright. I'd love to stay and chat but I better get going so I can find bubba before qualify." She says giving me a hug and running off. I go and find Ryan and see him getting ready to put on his helmet. "Do good babe." I say and kiss him. He climbs in his car and I kiss his helmet for good luck as I put up his window net.

*skip qualifying because I'm lazy and behind on updates af*

Ryan got the pole. "You did amazing baby!!! I'm so proud of you!!" I say running and giving him a hug. "Thank you sweetheart. I have some media appearances to go to are you going back to the hauler?" He asks " I think I'm go see Kaylie and Erik. I see you later. Again congrats on the pole." I say giving him a kiss and I walk to Kaylie and Erik's trailer to see them for a bit. Oh yeah I forgot ever since Kaylie and chase broke up chase knew Kaylie liked Erik and he helped set them up.

*knock knock*

"Hey ally what's up!" Erik answers opening the door and letting me in. "Nothing much just missed my friends. By the way congrats on qualifying 5th." I say. "Thanks so ho-" Erik gets cut off by Kaylie running up to me. "ALLY. ITS BEEN TOO LONG SINCE I HAVE SEEN YOU." She says running up to me and tackling me. "I've missed you too k." I say. "Let the girl breathe babe." Erik says pulling Kaylie off me and helping me up. I thank him and we sit and talk for a while. We decided to play NASCAR heat evolution. Well me and Erik. Kaylie decided to watch. She had been on her phone for a while and I wandered why. I shrugged it off and went back to mine and Eriks game.
