Chapter 1

On top of a small hill lies a dorm in a middle of a forest, a dorm that most people might recognise it as a haunted mansion. With rusty old iron gates threatening to fall apart, beyond it is a mansion adorn with long green vines growing all over it. Dark raven crows fly about in the sky, looking over the darkly lit place. Located far away from the rest of the dormitories, it receives less light than the rest.

Dark space blue and purple washes the sky, painting it beautifully with white speaks of stars shining brightly. The crescent moon glows brighter than before, allowing very little light for those on the ground. Soft hooting sounds from owls echo through the forest where the Polar Star Dormitory is located. Everyone is asleep but a certain person. A person with their lights open.

"Okay, I think this might work out." A soft, determined voice speaks out. Onyx eyes looks briefly through the paper in her hand as she sticks a pencil through her onyx hair balled up in a quick bun on top of her head. With round spectacles framing her dark eyes, black braces reveal themselves whenever the female opens her mouth.

"I think this is enough for today." Setting down the white paper with kana and kanji written on it, she rests it down on top of another stack of papers, a stack she has yet touched with her pale, delicate looking hands that seems to be weak as a twig. "Who knows, maybe it will work ou--" A deep yawn escapes her rose tainted lips. Quickly bringing her right hand over it, she covers it.

"Ahh~ I think it's time to rest." Standing up, her wooden chair drags on the floor, creating a soft squeaky sound. Remembering that it is passed bedtime for all of her dorm mates, she apologies in her head from the quiet ruckus.

Walking to her left, she sat down on the bouncy matress with white bedding over it, neatly done. "Yuaa~" Another yawn escapes her mouth. Instead of covering her mouth, slim fingers dug into the hairball and bringing out a thing yellow pencil. Putting it down gently on the night stand next to her bed, she takes her glasses off.

"I'm so tired." Nearly three at night, the young maiden stands up yet again and walk to her bathroom's white door in her suite, a bedroom she claimed all to herself after a small entrance exam. Turning the gold knob, she puss it open and to be met with darkness. Quickly flicking the switch next to the door up, bright light conquers the dark. Proceeding inside, onyx eyes gaze at the mirror in front of her.

"And this is what I get for staying up later than usual." With slightly dark bags already forming under her eyes, hands turns the tap water on. Grabbing a clear cup next to the sink, she fills it and then closes the tap to preserve the fresh water from escaping. Opening her mouth, fingers that she forgot to rinse gently takes out the black braces she wears for a reason she claims as style. Putting the top and bottom half into the cup, a deep sigh comes out of her lungs.

"I'm so going to regret this." With another wide mouth yawn, the black head closes the lights and snuggles into her bed before turning the lights off that her lamp post emitted in between her bed and desk.

"Goodnight to me."

Rushed footsteps move all over the place. Loud yelling and banging of multiple people tried their best to wake up the last member of Polar Star Dormitory. With everyone rushing all over the place in order to get ready and make sure that they haven't forgotten anything, they suddenly remembered about the black head.

"Rei-kun! Wake up!!!" A female with blue braided hair bangs on the door, yelling desperately for her dear friend to wake up from her slumber.

"If you don't wake up I'll have Yoshino bring one of her hens!" Another female with long silky magenta hair and a pair of matching eyes hits the door loudly.
