Chapter 13

All the cupcakes are gone, none in sight. With only the smell still there, Rei calms her mind in her bathroom. Lying down in the marble tub, she rests her head on the wall. Her hair is down, eyes closed, reminiscing about earlier.

"Donato-sensei you will never eat my cooking for the rest of your life!"

Rei cringed when she recalls that part. Now wishing that she yelled something differently, the look of dispear and defeat is in her mind, now haunting her.

"Now everyone will know that I'm the God's Chef! Especially the teachers and other alumni will find out and surround me. Let's not get started with the guests of Totsuki Resort! I'm gone."

"Ahhhh! Just shut up!" Quickly jumping up from the tub, she holds her head with her hands. 'I need a break. I need something to calm my mind.' Never once getting angry at herself like that, she climbs out of the tub. Rushing to dress herself with her long baggy white sleep shirt and tight short pants, she remembers to bring her keys before walking over to Tsukasa's room.

"E--eishi?" Blushing when Rei called Tsukasa's first name without any honorific, she knocks on the open door and welcomed herself into his room. Continuing to the kitchen, she does the same thing.

"Re--Rei?!" Jumping where he was, Tsukasa turns around. Fiddling with his fingers, Rei walks up to him.

"What're you doing?" Looking around his back, Tsukasa blocked her view yet again.

"I--it's a secret." With a crimson blush on his face, Tsukasa looks away. Turning around to the table, Rei takes a seat.

"Hmm, okay. You can continue don't mind me." Resting her chin on her hand, she props an elbow on the table. Looking at Tsukasa with a small smile, she looks out of the window.

'As long as you're here, I'm fine.' Feeling the calm aura enveloping her body, she smiles as her heart beats rhythmically.

"Here," The soft sound of metal hitting the table snapped Reu out of her long daze. Looking at the sound of the noise, a slice of opera cake is before her. With four thin layers of cake, two think layers of white is at the bottom and middle layer while the third has a thicker layer of chocolate. Finished off with chocolate glaze and topped with two mint leaves resting on eat other, Rei slowly looks up to Tsukasa's sparkling eyes.

"Eishi," She nervously says without stuttering.

"It's not as good as your cupcakes I tasted before meeting you in the kitchen, b--but I tried my best." Looking over at his work station, the rest of the Opera cake is left alone.

Smiling to softly, Rei picks up the gold fork and spoon already set before her. Cutting it with the knife, she scoops it up with the fork and ate it successfully with all its layers. The soft layers of almond sponge cake soaked in coffee syrup is bitter, but it's made up with the sweetness of the thick white layers of coffee buttercream and ganache. Glaces over with tempered chocolate, however, Rei's tongue detected all the many flaws to it, like the measurements for example, yet she tastes something that starts to make her eyes tear up. Going in for another bite, her breathe hitch.

"Rei?"

Although the sponge cake was soaked with the bitter coffee syrup, the deep rich taste of ganache and coffee buttercream went well with it. It was a perfect balance if she was to recreate it, yet she taste something else. Something that needed to have more thought in. Something that her tongue isn't able to detect so easily, but her heart did.

"Eishi!" Flinging her arms over the startled silver head, she jumps onto him. "You pass! You're now a world class patisserie stated by the God's Patisserie!" With her legs wrapped around hod torso, she pulls back and looks at white eyes. "If this continues then you'll get a better title then a knight!"

"Wh--what do you mean Rei?" Holding her back in place, Tsukasa looks at the suddenly happy girl in his arms. Feeling his heart pound so loudly in her sudden new appearance, he starts to fear if Rei is able to hear.

"What do I mean? Well, taste it for yourself!" Sliding down his body, Rei only sent sparks of electricity down his body. "Say awwww." Without way in for his reply, Rei sticks the fork into his mouth. Taking it back out, Tsukasa chews it.

"It taste like it usually do." Telling her the truth, Rei stops eating the cake.

With a slight pout, she says, "I guess you won't be able to taste it." With a small sigh, Rei tucks a long lock of onyx hair behind her ear. Eating another piece, a soft smile appears on her face. Ignoring the confused Tsukasa, she continues to eat and talk. "I'm thinking about making something for my past tutors sometime soon. It'll have to be within the time of the camp but I'll have to make something for Donato-sensei separately. I feel like I've been too harsh on him. He probably got scared for the rest of his life!" Giggling with a wide smile, Rei continues to pay attention to the calming atmosphere. "I'll bake him some kind of cake... no, chocolates. Chocolates will be a grea--!"

*CLACK!*

The sound of the fork dropping down the floor echoes through the room. "E--HMPH!" Lips covers her yet again, this time in a different place. Thrusting his tongue into her mouth, he begins to taste his cake far sweeter and more pleasurible than before.

Rei's hot moans sent ecstasy down Tsukasa's spine. Lifting his left knee and putting it in the middle of her legs, his hands holds her chin and back. Shifting in her spot, she begins to loose oxygen quickly and fast.

Grabbing hold of Tsukasa's chef uniform, she tries to push him away with her remaining strength. Failing, miserably in the end, Rei's world begin to spin. Pulling back in the last second, she gasps for air as she gently gives some space between them.

"Eishi--!" Coughing loudly after Rei yells Tsukasa's first name, carbon dioxide comes out of her lungs. "Why?" Steading her still shaking breathe, she squeezes out the word.

Slowly looking up to his eyes, they appear darker than she had ever seen. "Rei," Holding her chin firmly with his dominant hand, his eyes bores into hers. "I don't want you talking about other males besides me like that." His eyes starts to make Rei scared. Never once seeing him like that, she hopes that everything turns out well in the end. "B--because," White eyes slowly trails down to the ground. "What if you like them more than me..." His hard eyes broke and replaced with sadness. Realising how possessive her lover can be, her fear runs away.

"Like that will ever happen." Wrapping his neck with her arms, she looks at his eyes happily. "You're my boyfriend after all." Saying that a bit teasingly, Tsukasa blush. "I still have to reward you for excellent performance today. Say whatever you want but make sure I'll make it in time for my next lecture tomorrow morning and don't do anything too naughty." Winking with her head tilted on a slight angle, Tsukasa looks away sheepishly.

"B--by tha--that y--y--you me--mean li--like..." Cannot say the word, Rei finishes his sentence for him.

"Sex." With a slight blush on her cheeks, she ignores it but her heart couldn't.
