Chapter 19

"Really, that's what you called me for." Rei looks at Dojima if he was actually being serious. Draining her cup of green tea that was already prepared for her, she slumps back on her seat.

"Yes, it is important to know before the banquet. I need to prepare all the ingredients that you will need in advance and make sure that everything goes smoothly with the other alumni." With his arms and legs crossed, Dojima sits on the seat opposite Rei.

"Well, you'll have to wait. I still didn't decide on anything." Rei sighs. Looking at the door, she stands. "Anyways I need to get going." Bringing a hand up to her mouth, she let's out a yawn. "If I don't get my sleep I'll be like a zombie later today." Bowing slightly, she bids farewell to him. "Bye Gin-sensei." Walking to the door, she glances back at him.

'What a waste of time,' Remembering about the little rendezvous she had with Tsukasa in the middle of a hallway, she blushes. 'I guess we do make a good pair.' Playing with her fingers, she suddenly remembers something.

"So this is why you must work in pairs until Rei controls her God's eye."

'Does that apply to me preparing the desserts for the banquet?' Unsure, Rei turns around and begins to walk back to the office she was just in. Just as she was about to knock, she heard her name.

"--Rei a long time until she finds out. With your and my sources combined, we are fully capable of tracking him down."

Lowering her hand to her side, Rei couldn't help but listen in.

"He is on the move. My sources says tag he is showing abnormal behaviour. If this continues, Morihika Rei is no longer safe in Totsuki."

"What?" The words accidentally slips out of her mouth. Taking a step back, she hears Dojima's voice again talking to a person through his phone.

"Just a sec, I think I heard something." Looking in both directions, Rei ran.

'What was that? What do I have to do with it? Totsuki?' Her mind is filled with thoughts. The endless amount of possibilities that floods into her head. 'Can it be? Ye--no! Stop it with all of these conspiracies!' Holding her head with her hands, Rei stands right outside Tsukasa's door. 'Or maybe I shou--'

"R--Rei!" The door swung open and there stands a frantic Tsukasa. Like the scene similar to before, this time Tsukasa jumps in the air and envelope Rei with a ties hug.

"E--eishi?!" Looking at the silver head hugging her tightly, all the thoughts in her head flew out of the window. "Were you worrying about me again?" Returning the hug, Rei peers down at his face with a teasing voice. "If you worry for me that much, you won't be able to focus on anything in life." Smiling softly, Rei kisses Tsukasa on his cheek. "Can you let go? I'm hungry and I want some cake."

Notifying the man, he let's go. "O--okay." With shaking breath, Tsukasa holds Rei by her sleeve.

Walking through the doors, she closes it. "You're so cute Eishi. Has anyone told you that?" Glancing at the qivering man at her side, he resembles a lost puppy to her. "It makes me want to hug you." Smiling, she tries her best to not do anything to delay herself eating the cake. Pushing open the dining room door, she makes a beeline to the fridge. "Want some?" Looking back at Tsukasa, she finds him blushing very hard. Containing her laugh in her throat, she gets at fork and carries the rest of the Opera cake to the table. "Thanks for the food." Clasping her hand together, she digs in afterwards.

Tsukasa sits right next to Rei and admires how she happily at his cake the he made. It brought great joy to his heart, seeing his lover eat it so affectionately, he found himself leaning forward.
