His arms around my waist.
Mine around his neck.
Our noses collided.
Our eyes sealed. Our lips barely touching.
Ethan hiccuped, startling himself.
His face turned as red as a tomato in a matter of seconds.
I burst out laughing.
We walk down towards a nearby pond. I sit at the edge petting a turtle swimming towards us.
Ethan sits behind me, pulling me close to his chest.
I don't know what we are exactly.
Friends.
More than friends.
Really close friends.I don't know what it may be classified to society, but whatever it is, I like it.
I love Ethan.
I honestly do.
I don't know what I'd be or what I'd do without him by my side.
But it's a different kind of love.I wouldn't be able to look straight into his eyes and tell him that.
He's special. Really.
He's almost perfect.
Who am I kidding?
He's more than perfect.
Too perfect for me.
He's flawless.
He has a beautiful heart.
One that deserves more than I could ever offer.
Maybe that's why I love him.
Maybe that's why I can't love him.
The way society says we should.
The way I want to.
It's just hard.
It's just different.
