Ethan and I get into the car and head to the nearest Starbucks.

I try to make small talk in the car, because I want to tell him about how I feel once we're face to face and I know he's listening.

He doesn't show his hurt.

He's a pretty good actor.

But I'm pretty good at telling when someone isn't themselves.

And I especially know Ethan.

He's hiding it all in.

We arrive at Starbucks. He orders a frappuccino and I order a green tea latte.

We sit outside and we sit across from each other.

"Hey, I need to talk to you." I start.

"Yeah?" He says, taking a sip from his frappe.

"I'm sorry about last night. I shouldn't have treated you the way I have been treating you. You deserve much more from me. You've been there for me since day 1.... but why?" I say.

"I saw something in you." He said.

I look at him, hoping he'll continue. But he doesn't.

I honestly didn't know what to say.

We sat there for a period of silence, looking around, sipping our drinks.

A pretty song started playing from a nearby restaurant.

Ethan stood up and stood out his hand towards me.

I took it.

He pulled me in close to him, starting to dance.

Well, he tried.

Poor thing, he kept stepping on my foot.

"Sorry- oh, sorry!" His eyes at his feet.

I lifted his chin up.

"Hey, look into my eyes." I said.

I could see him blush a little.

"Now, follow my lead."

He started out pretty well, I gotta hand it to him.

I rested my forehead against his, closing my eyes, listening to the music, swaying freely and slowly.

Ethan pulled me in closer and lifted my chin. He stared down at my eyes, down to my nose, and down to my lips.

He closed his eyes and started to lean in.
