"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to LAX Airport. Local time is 9:56 and the temperature is 87° Fahrenheit .
For your safety and comfort, please remain seated with your seat belt fastened until the Captain turns off the Fasten Seat Belt sign. This will indicate that we have parked at the gate and that it is safe for you to move about. Cellular phones may only be used once the Fasten Seat Belt sign has been turned off.

Please check around your seat for any personal belongings you may have brought on board with you and please use caution when opening the overhead bins, as heavy articles may have shifted around during the flight.

If you require deplaning assistance, please remain in your seat until all other passengers have deplaned. One of our crew members will then be pleased to assist you.

On behalf of Hawaiian Airlines and the entire crew, I'd like to thank you for joining us on this trip and we are looking forward to seeing you on board again in the near future. Have a nice day!" The flight attendant announced, waking me from my deep sleep.

I had arrived in L.A.

I got off the plane, walked towards the luggage pick up, got my bag, and headed off to find a taxi as fast as I could. I was in a strange country and didn't know anyone except for Begonia. Why couldn't she come pick me up?

I waited impatiently for a taxi to finally notice my existence. I couldn't stand the smell of the desperate people rushing outside to smoke. Gross.

When a taxi arrived, the driver was kind enough to come out and grab my luggage and place it in the trunk. I got in the back seat and fiddled in my pocket for the piece of paper Kai handed me as I left.

"Where to?" Asked the driver.
"Here." I replied, handing him the folded up piece of paper.

He nodded, and we head off. I turned on my phone, hoping to receive service. Yes! 3 bars! I'm going to text Kai and tell her that I landed safely.

The words from Akamai earlier this morning roll through my mind. "It's for your own good".

It's for your own good
It's for your own good
It's for your own good
It's for your own good
It's for your own good
It's for your own good
It's for your own good

I just wish I knew how moving me thousands of miles away from my family, friends, and the place I love the most would be for my own good.

We arrive at the address and I can't seem to get out of the car. The driver seems to be telling me something, but my mind doesn't process it. I finally snap back into reality and realize he wants money. I reach through my hand bag and find some money Kai placed there. I hand him the money and get out of the car. The man presses a button and the trunk of the car opens. He doesn't do anything but whistle, as a sign for me to hurry up. Wow.. how some people change. I grab my luggage and head towards the door, the sound of squeaking tires behind me.
