The lunch break ended and we got out of the office.
“Hey guys, wanna go to my house after school ? We could talk about the task. We have to know how to find the book of spells.” I suggested.
“sure.” They both replied.
“Spring break starts tomorrow. Can we go sleepover at your house?” Taron asked.
“Ofcorse !” I said happily. It’s been ages since they came to my house for a sleepover.
“Meet you after school then.” Taron said giving me a kiss on the forehead.
“Bye.”

The last bell rang. Yes, and there’s a moment of joy. Crazy kids ran out of their classrooms, worksheets and homework flying everywhere. Cheering sounds filled the hall, students were all leaving with big smiles on their faces. Yep, the happiest day of their lives. But us? We still have a dangerous, life risking journey to go. Maybe we will get ourselves killed. Who knows ?
I stood in front of the classroom waiting for Taron and Caele. I saw three girls laughing happily, putting their arms around their shoulders. In that particular moment, i felt very lonely and sad. The three girls were just like Caele and Kathy and me, we used to joke around all the time. Just like the three happy girls. Now...i’d lost her, and...maybe it’s all because of me. I felt very sorry...i felt bad about...everything. Thinking of that made cry. A tear trickled down my cheek.
Suddenly, someone hugged me behind my back.
“Hey, what’s wrong ?” Taron asked wrapping his hands around my shoulder. He wiped off my tears with his fingers.
“It’s ok. You have me and Caele.” He said smoothening my hair. Sometimes, he seemed to understand how i felt.
“Thanks.” I said with a smile.
“Let’s go.” He said taking my hand.
The three of us walked home together.
