The four of us hid behind a bush and observed the guard’s doings.
“So...what are you going to do ?” I asked. “Just run out there and shout:
Hey ! I am an evil gnome! I will kick your butts ? ”

“Probably. ” He answered. “But i got something much better. Just watch and learn, hun. ”

He’d never ever call me hun. And he sounded like an old granny, which is kind of annoying. Frodo waved his tiny little hands and made some kind of a flower blooming gesture. Suddenly, the ground shook and long vines spread out from underneath the ground and wrapped around the guard’s legs. The vines kept on going up and wrapped their whole body, making a vine-mummy. The three of us were impressed.

“Wow...that's...”

“Magnificent !” Frodo finished my sentence.

“And that is...”

“Floral magic.” He finished my sentence, again.

“I think it’s safe for us to go in now. Come on ! ” He grabbed my hand.
We quietly passed the mummified guards and entered the castle.
The castle...it scary, of course. Some of the stone walls were even splattered with blood. And that, i don’t want to know why. We quickly hid behind a wall.

“Where do we find the spell book? ” Caele asked.

“I think is in one of the treasure rooms. Where the king kept his most important treasures, obviously.” I answered.
“We’ll walk around and figure it out. Just stay close and follow my lead.”

Just when i took the first step, i heard someone yell.
“It’s the humans ! Kill them !”
I turned and saw a bunch of guards running after us.

Oh gosh...why do this have to happen every time.
“Quick ! Run ! ” I shouted.

Without a doubt, we ran as fast as our feet could carry us. The castle sure was big, it’s like running in a corn maze. There were endless corridors.

“Turn left !” I shouted and we turned into another corridor. We kept on running and turning into different  directions but it’s never-ending.
The footsteps of the guards seemed to get closer to us. I panicked.
On my left, i saw an unlocked wooden door and there’s a dim light coming out from the cracks.

“Quick! Hide here! ” I headed to the door. We quickly got in and shut the door tightly.

“Phew ! ” I wiped the sweat from my forehead. I leaned over to the wall trying to catch my breath. For once, the room was silent, i could only hear the four of us breathing.
“Where are we ?” Asked Taron.

“Don’t know.” I answered.
“Stairs.” I pointed at the stone steps leading downwards.
“We go down. ”

“Looks dark down there , you sure ?” He asked.
I nodded and not one seemed to object. We grabbed the torches form our backpacks and headed down the dark staircase.
Just as we reached the last step, Caele gasped.
In front of us was a big golden chest, gold coins and trophies lay beside it, Forming a mountain of gold. The reflection of the gold pieces lightened up the room. Colourful portraits were hung on the wall, marble statues were placed. It’s...beautiful.

“What is this place ? ” Caele asked.

“Definitely The treasure room.” I answered.
