I was woken up by the sound of the alarm clock. Someone pulled my blanket, my toes were sticking out of the bed. Making me felt uncomfortable.
“What time is it...” I muttered covering my face with the blanket.

“Eight.” A voice said. Then i felt someone slowly pulling the blanket off from my face and put my hair behind my ears gently.
“Wake up, sleepy head.” He peck me on the lips.
I opened my eyes slowly and saw  Taron sitting beside of me, smiling. His smile always makes my day.

“Good morning.” He said.

“Hey...” I rubbed my eyes.

“We have to leave early, right?” He asked. “Just get ready and we’ll go down for breakfast. ”

“Sure.” I replied. I got out of bed sluggishly and got prepared for the day. Taron was waiting for me in the room. After getting ready, the both of us went to the dining room for breakfast. Caele was already sitting at the table eating.

“Morning everyone.” I said.

“Good morning dear.” Mom said while cooking some scrambled eggs.

“Hey Layla!” Caele said happily.

“Hi! Seemed you wake up early.”

“I sure did. I don’t want to interrupt your beauty sleep. ”(Last time she woke me up, and it didn’t went well at all. Beware.)

“Oh thanks!” I laughed.
“So...what’s for breakfast ?” Taron and i grabbed a seat.

“Sunny side up ,toast, bacon, sausage and baked beans!” Mom replied.

“Wow...that’s a lot...” I said.

“You need more nutrients and proteins ! eggs have protein and toast gives you carbohydrate. Those foods will provide energy!   ” She exclaimed.
Sometimes, my mom sounded like a professional nutritionist. Taron and Caele looked at me awkwardly.

“Um...ok...thanks.” I blushed feeling embarrassed.

“Here you go !” Mom said hading us the plate of...big breakfast.

“Thanks Mrs.Anderson!” Taron said taking a bite of the crunchy toast.

We ate our breakfast and got ready for the trip. I brought my bronze sword and the magic items along, i hope i didn’t miss anything. I really don’t wanted to mess up.

“Goodbye mom.” I said giving her a bear hug. “I will miss you, A lot.” I said with tears in my eyes.

“I will miss you too, honey.” She said.
“Stay safe. I love you.” She gave me a kiss on the cheek.

“I love you too, mom.”
I took a deep breath. Leaving home is just...sad. From now on, my mind will be only thinking about saving Kathy. I have to succeed this time. I will not let Milu destroy the world.

“Let’s go.” I said.
The three of us stepped out of the house and started our dangerous journey. Hahahaha! Booo~ (Oh...sorry, just trying to make it sound scary. I know it’s dumb. Whatever, just don’t mind me.)
