I got off from Taron and tried to stand, ignoring the pain. It worked surprisingly, but my leg felt like it’s been stung by a billion wasps.(You don’t want to experience it...)Taron and me stood back-to-back,he grabbed his shield and sword to protect me. I pulled out my sword and got ready to fight.
“Hey you fools ! ” I yelled at the pack.

The wolves stopped attacking Caele and turned towards my direction. Their red glowing eyes were filled with rage. It’s like they wanted to tear me into pieces.
“Layla ! ” Caele yelled lying on the mossy ground. Her knees seemed to be hurt.

“Just stay put ! I’m going to get you in a minute. But first, i’m going to kill those wolves.” I replied.

The wolves howled and pounced at me and Taron. I swung my sword and stabbed one of them in the stomach, it yelped and fell onto the ground. Taron was fighting one of the wolves, it clawed him on the face.
“Taron!” I screamed as i ran towards him, stabbing the wolf at the back.

“Thanks...” He said breathing heavily.
“I am fine...” He stuttered.

“No you’re not !” I cried.
“Two down, six more to go...” I muttered.

More wolves were coming towards us. While Taron was busy fighting the other wolves, one pounced at me. Just when i had time to react, it pinned me onto the ground. It opened its jaws and tried to snap my head off. I grabbed its arms to prevent its fangs from sinking into my neck. Drool from its mouth dripped onto my shirt.
I struggled trying to free myself on the ground. While i was still holding the wolf’s arms, in the corner of my eye, i saw Caele trying to get up. She wrapped her legs with a piece of cloth and ran towards my direction. She shot the wolf at the back with her bow and helped me up.

“Thanks...” I said breathing heavily.
“I owe you one...”

“No problem.” She smiled.

“Quick! We’ve got to help Taron! ” I yelled.

The two of us quickly ran towards Taron and helped him to fight the wolves. After sometime of fighting, we finally killed all of them. Blood was dripping from my forehead,we were all exhausted. Just as we wanted to sit down and take a rest, i heard a howl. And i know something bad was going to happen.

“More of them are coming...” I panted resting my hands on my knees.
“We...cannot...defeat...them..all...”

In about one kilometers away, i saw about twenty more hunting wolves came running to attack us.
“Ok...we are doomed.” Caele said.

“We can’t die here...grab your weapons, ready for attack.” I commanded.

The wolves howled and growled, forming a circle around us. They stretched their claws, ready to pounce at us anytime.
“We are surrounded. ” Taron said.

“It’s alright. I just got to think of a plan.”
Well...actually...i just said it to comfort them, i don’t really have a plan to be honest.
The wolves were getting closer and closer. I touched my necklace and i  got an idea. I can’t believe that i’m so dumb, i should have used my necklace... Geez.

“Guys! Get closer to me!” I shouted.
“There’s only one way to find out if it works...” I muttered under my breath.

We held hands and I touched my necklace.
“London train station !” I shouted.
