“Who is that ?” Taron asked.
“Her name is Sarah. Her...mom died in the explosion.” I explained. “Poor girl...” I muttered.
“Wish i could do something to help.” Caele said.
“Me too...” I sighed.
“By the way, she told us that some kind of monster went that way.” I pointed at the staircase.
“Who sells saving cream here ?” Caele laughed at the sign. “Hagrid ?” We all laughed. (Get it ? He had a big beard.)
“Come on.” I said.“No time for jokes.”
“What kind of monster is that ?” Taron asked. “Skeletons ? Gambas ? Or...Manticore?” He shivered.
“Not sure.” I replied.“ She only mentioned that the monster had sharp teeth and bat-like wings.”
“Hum...” Taron bit his lips.
“Let’s...just move on, shall we ?” I said pushing Taron and Caele forwards. We follow the directions of which Sarah gave us and we arrived at the shaving cream sign.
“So...um..we have to go there ?” Caele gulped pointing at the dark staircase which leads downwards. “You sure?”
“The power is off down there...” Taron muttered.
“Is it safe? ” He asked.
I wanted to say, “Of corse it’s not safe! Who knows if we will be killed by a bunch of scary monsters ? Going down there it’s like seeking our death!” Instead, i said. “ I am not sure if the layer is down there, it may be scary but it’s worth a look.” Wow, Layla Anderson. What’s gone into you? Now you’re pretending to be brave. After a few minutes, when you and your friends were being chased by hungry monsters, you won’t be thinking in that way, will you ?
“Okay then.” Taron said.
“We should bring torches down there.” He pulled out three torches from his backpack and handed it to me and Caele.
“Smart.” I smirked.
“Of corse i am, dude ! I am Taron Blake yo !”
“Here we go again...” I rolled my eyes. ( Every time i wanted to appreciate his doings, he just does a weird smile. If you use photoshop and gave him some sunglasses. It will become a meme....If Leo Valdez had a brother, it would definitely be Taron. )
“Come on, let’s just go down.” I said.
Just as i took the first step, i heard a scream. And it’s coming from down stairs.
“You hear that ?” Caele asked.
“Someone’s in trouble! Go !”
