“You ! Betrayer ! ” Yelled Milu weakly.
“Kill them ! ” He ordered.
Gambas and flying monkeys came into the room in each and every direction. The all have spears and swords.
“Get ready for the battle.” I looked the my friends. The nodded and grabbed their weapons. Over thirty monsters stood on the other side of the room looking at us fiercely. This is going to be a tough battle. I held the blooded sword in my hands and raised it high.
“Charge ! ” I shouted.
The monsters roared and ran towards us with their weapons. A few of them tried to claw my face, luckily i doged and judo-flipped them on the floor. (This girl got some moves baby ! *winks*) Taron on the other hand, was slashing and swinging his sword attacking those ugly monkeys.
Caele was shooting her arrows, aiming for the monster’s heads. Kathy was in battle mode, she fought the monsters with a spear. (I don’t know where she get that. )Frodo was doing his magic, he muttered some words and turned some of the gambas into frogs and rabbits. Floral magic really do work , kids !
Because of our strong team spirit, a lot of monsters were killed. But more of them are coming in for battle, we were tired, exhausted. But we have to fight for the world, for our family. It’s our duty. And i promise that i’ve kept.
My friends were fighting using their full strength, looking at them makes me felt lucky. They mean a lot to me, they are family.
Seeing all this chaos happening. It’s time to end everything.
“Caele ! Catch ! ” I throw the scroll towards her. She grabbed it and looked at me, confused.
“Read it! ” I exclaimed. “You helped me a lot , you deserve to save the world. ”
She nodded with tears in her eyes and opened the scroll. Suddenly, the room shook and everyone stopped fighting. Warm light flow into the room, brighter than ever.
“You cannot read the scroll, girl.” Milu laughed. “This scroll is enchanted ! Only the descendants of the Aztec Gods can read it ! No one ever does!” He grinned.
Caele looked at the scroll of words.
She closed her eyes and spoke,
“ Alaku cub cahlt mc cemkupp! ”
Just as she finished , the ground shook and white light surrounded Milu. We all stared in astonishment.
“No! ” He screamed. “It can’t be !”
His body started to fade away, the gambas and flying monkeys all knelt down on the floor and crumpled to dust.
“Nooo! My army !” He screamed.
“You ! The daughter of Quetzalcoatl. You will die in your enemy’s hands, you and your sister...Sarah.” Milu disappeared in a flash of light. The castle shook, cracks appeared on the walls.
“We have to go now ! This place is collapsing ! ” I cried.
“What just happened ? ” Taron asked.
“No time to explain, hold my hands !”
Together, the three of them held my hands. And i touched my necklace, just when i started to say me destination. I felt that someone was missing, Frodo.
“Frodo ! ” I cried out. At the middle of the room stood the little gnome, with his back turned around us.
“What are you doing ? ” I cried.
“I won’t let you die here ! Come with us ! ”
“This place...is where i belong.” He muttered.
“You can’t stay here ! ” I exclaimed.
“The walls cannot hold on any longer!”
“I must stay.” He said.
“Let me stay, do it for me.” He faced me and smiled.
“No....no ! ” I cried. The walls started collapsing, the whole castle was shaking.
“I am sorry, ” Said Frodo.
“I hope we will met again.” He walked towards me and touched my hand.
“Mother nature keep them strong, send them back to where they belong.”
I felt gust of wind swirled around me, lifting the three of us in the air. The image of the little gnome started to fade.
“Frodo !” I shouted.
The gnome is no where to be seen. The castle melted in front of my eyes, there was a flash of light. And the next thing i know, we were back home.
