“Hey, your bleeding. You alright ?” Taron said pointing at the cut on my left arm.
“That’s nothing, really.” I grabbed some bandages from my backpack and wrapped it around my arm.
“All done!” I smiled.“ A piece of cake.”
“Speaking of cake...” Caele muttered.
“I’m kinda hungry. We haven’t had lunch yet...” She rubbed her belly.
“You sure like eating.” I laughed.
“Let’s just keep going.” I suggested.
“I got some snacks in my backpack, we could get to a safer place then sit down and eat. But the problem is, this place is not safe at all...”
“We’ll keep an eye on monsters.” Taron said.
The three of us again set off to...a safe place...
We got passed a lot of lava pools , stones and rocks.
“This place is like...a living volcano.” Caele said looking around.
“Be careful.” I warned. “If you took a wrong step, you might be burned alive by the lava.”
“Hey look ! There’s a cave there , wanna go and check it out ?” Taron asked.
In front of us, about a mile. There was a cave at the foot of a rock mountain.
Moss and grass were growing at the walls of the cave.
“I thought no plants can grow here. The weather is hot, too hot. It can’t survive in this condition.” I said.
“This is weird.” Caele said.
“We should go and check it out.”
No one objected, so we walked over to the cave. The entrance was blocked by a massive rock with a letter F marked on top.
“I don’t know if someone was living in there.” I said.
“Try to give it a knock.” Taron suggested.
I knocked three times at the “door”. The knocking sounds echoed, it feels like the cave is hollow.
“I think no one’s there.” Caele said.
Suddenly, the rock rolled over.
“Well...i didn’t expect that to happen...” I mumbled.
Just as we stepped into the cave , the rock rolled over and shut the entrance. Everything went black.
“Oh no...” I said. “We shouldn’t have done that...” I tried to find my torch but i couldn’t see a thing. I couldn’t even see Caele and Taron’s face.
“ We’re doomed...” I thought.
“Hello there.” A cold voice spoke.
It gave me goosebumps, my whole body shivered.
“W..who are you ?” I stuttered. “Whatever you do...just please don’t kill us.” I squeezed my eyes shut.
“Kill you ? Oh please....I am tired of killing people, gosh bloody humans!”
“Wait...What ?”
