We walked along the corridor and reached the wooden door. I twisted the rusty door knob and surprisingly, the door was unlocked. I gently pushed the door and it creaked open. The creaking sound sent shivers down my spine. We walked in quietly and closed the door behind, the wooden planks on the floor wobbled as we took a step forward. Spider webs hung from the rafters making everything more scary.

Suddenly, i heard a muffled cry.
I turned around but i can’t see anybody around.
“Um...Caele ? ” I whispered.
“You hear anything weird ?” I asked.

“I heard a voice just now. I thought it’s only my imagination.” She answered.

“No...I heard it too.” We looked at each other with our eye brows raised.
“Should... we go ?” She raised her voice.

“Wait.” I looked around once again. Something caught my attention, a giant black cloth was put on top of something big. Maybe a giant box, as tall as me.
“Something is wrong in here.”

“This place is haunted ! ” Caele shivered. (Seriously...this is the castle of the ghosts. It’s supposed to be haunted. )

I closed my eyes and the room went silent. I could hear ticking sounds, from a clock.
“There.” I pointed at the cloth. “Something is under there.” I said.

I walked closer to the cloth and pulled it over. I was astounded to see what's under the giant black cloth. There was a giant cage, and Taron was sitting in the middle. His hands and foot being chained. His face was full of scars, blood dripped from the corner of his mouth. His eyes were closed, like he was in a coma.

“Oh my gods!” I screamed.
“Taron ! ”

I put my hands on the iron bars and shook them using my full strength. But it’s locked and Taron didn’t wake up.
“What have they done to you...” I started crying.

“I can open this.” Caele said. She touched the iron bars with her hands and mumbled some words, maybe in Aztec. After she finished , the lock and Taron’s chains popped open.

The magic from the invisibility spell started to fade, i could started see myself again. The unconscious Taron lost his ballance and fell straight into my arms, i pulled him out from the cage and lay him on the floor.

“I am so sorry...” I took his hand.

“What do we do ?” Caele asked.

“The dragons blood!” i exclaimed.
“We can heal him with the dragon’s blood ! ” I quickly grabbed the purplish liquid from my backpack and poured a few drops in Taron’s mouth. Golden light spread out from Taron’s body and filled the room with warmth, i heard a cough and his eyes fluttered open.

“Where...am i ?” He said breathing heavily.

“Taron !” I cried as i hugged him tightly.
“I thought i’ve lost you...”

“Thanks crystal girl. ” He hugged me back. “Wait...” He said suddenly.
“Where is Frodo ? ” He asked.

“Is he not here ?” Asked Caele.

“Oh no...” Taron said worriedly.

“What happened ?” I asked.

“He’s captured in the throne room with Milu. It’s almost dawn ! If the guards couldn’t find us, they will kill him ! ”

“But-”

“No buts, we have to go , now !”
