'Well, that's the last we'll be seeing of our parents in a while,' said Chelsea as we sat down in front of a bowl of soup.
'At least yours showed up,' I said casually. I didn't sound bitter or upset - it was just a statement, a fact.
'Don't worry,' said Chelsea, puttin her arm around my shoulders. 'You'll see them soon enough, after Initiation.'
'Doubt it,' I said, smiling slightly. Why was I smiling?
Chelsea took her arm back, and we all ate our food.
After the ice cream we always had for dessert, we went back up to the room and ended up playing truth or dare - Candor or Dauntless.
It turned out to be pretty amusing.
Chelsea and I ended up running into Kristen, Amy and Alison's room and stealing their pillows (Jason helped - he regretted wanting to room with them now) whilst they were in the bathroom. It turned out that was where they kept their makeup, too, so it was very funny when we heard them scream when they noticed. Jason didn't tell them it was us.
Of course, then Chelsea and I covered Nathan and Ross in makeup.
It was so funny.
They rushed into the bathroom to look, and even they burst out laughing.
Chelsea and I had never used makeup before in our lives. It was illogical to cover your face in weird paint and powder.
It was even funnier when neither of the boys could get any of the makeup off when the game was over.
'Hold still!' I gasped, laughing, as I wiped at Nathan's eyes with damp toilet roll. Chelsea was attacking at Ross's face, too.
I looked to Chelsea and then to an eyeliner pencil. Then, I looked back to her, and we shook with silent laughter.
I reached over to the eyeliner, without taking my hand from Jason's face. Most of the makeup was off now - his lips were normal-sized, his cheeks not bright pink anymore. There was just some black eyeliner around his eyes. Ross was the same.
Looking back to Chelsea, I put a finger to my lips, and indicated to the bedroom and then the eyeliner in my hand, which I slipped into the sleeve of the shirt I would wear to bed - we had changed before the game. Chelsea nodded.
'Okay, I think it's all off,' I said.
'Yeah, we should probably take all this crap back to the idiots next door,' said Chelsea. 'How much makeup do they need?' She gasped, picking up one of the pillowcases.
'And that's only one pillowcase!' I said. 'I think we mixed it all up...' Myself, Chelsea, Ross and Nathan exchanged a glance, and then emptied all three pillowcases into one pile, and then out the makeup into one of the sacks.
Laughing with the others, I stuffed the two empty pillowcases into the one that was filled with makeup.
Then, I picked up the bag and creeped along the hallway, to Jason, Kristen, Amy and Alison's dorm room. I could hear them talking inside.
'Where'd you put them?' Kristen's voice demanded of Jason.
'It wasn't me!' He said, laughing.
Kristen, Amy and Alison let out a few expletives I'd never heard an Amity use in my life. Whilst they were occupied, I pulled the door open, threw the pillowcase inside, and slammed the door shut, bolting back into my own room before they had noticed. We all stood with our ears pressed against the door and heard Amy open the door and shout, '%¥€$ you!' Down the hallway. We burst out laughing, tumbling away from the door.
'That was brilliant!' I gasped, as the girls screamed when they saw their makeup in a jumbled mess in the bag.
We finally went to sleep after we calmed down, the eyeliner I had stolen hidden inside my own pillowcase.
