It can't have been long after we fell asleep that Ross and Chelsea came into the room. Chelsea almost fell over as she stepped into the room. Ross looked so out that I was surprised that they had found the room.

'We'd better help them,' I said to Nathan, and we reluctantly separated.

'Woo, someone's been having fun, haven't they?' Chelsea giggled drunkenly, almost stumbling again.

'Something like that.' I muttered.

Somehow, I managed to get Chelsea into her nightclothes. Nathan had managed to do the same for Ross.

I managed to hoist Chelsea into the bunk I usually slept in, and we helped Ross into Chelsea's bunk. Then, Nathan and I climbed into his bunk and lay in the same way as we had earlier, before they came in, and slept again.

We awoke in the afternoon to the sound of Chelsea and Ross moaning. My best friend leapt from the bed and hurried into the bathroom. I heard the sound of her throwing up, and went to hold her hair back again.

Chelsea put the lid of toilet down, and sat on it, whilst I found a hairband and tied her hair back for her.

We then went back into the bedroom, and Ross was sitting on the edge of Chelsea's bunk, massaging his temples.

'Damn, I we were so drunk,' Chelsea muttered clutching at her own head.

'Chels, get back into bed,' I said, and she climbed back up. Neither of them had questioned why we had switched the bunks around.

Nathan and I filled the cups we had taken yesterday with water and handed one to Chelsea and one to Ross. Then, we got dressed, and asked if they wanted us to get them anythin to eat; they declined.

Ross and I went down to the dining room, where, as I had expected, the tables were lined with salads, bread, toast... Well, pretty much a mixture of breakfast and lunch. We took a piece of toast each and sat down opposite each other.

'I really can't be bothered to do much today,' I sighed, biting into the toast and swallowing it quickly.

'Neither can I,' said Nathan. In the Dining room, I could see a few groups of older Candor members, but there were no other Initiates here - we weren't initiates anymore, we were members, I reminded myself. The Candor-born Initiates-now-Members were to decide whether they stayed in the apartments they were in now or they moved back in with their families, and the rest of us would stay where we were.

I wasn't complaining.

When we had finished eating, we went downstairs, to the infirmary, and asked for some aspirins to take to Chelsea and Ross.

'Today is always the busiest day,' the nurse joked, as she handed us the small pieces of plastic that contained the tablets.

We went back upstairs, and dissolved the tablets in water for Ross and Chelsea, and left them to sleep off their hangovers.

Nathan and I spent the day outside, enjoying the fresh air. It was a surprisingly warm day, so we sat on the grass outside the Mart.

From what I had gathered, Jeanine Mathews, the representative of my former faction, was hunting down Divergents, and looking for power. Abnegation made up most of the government. She was a power-hungry moron, and she had forced Dauntless to help her.

Today could well be the last day it was safe for us to sit outside in the open like that - we never knew.
