By the time morning came around, Kate had no idea what had exactly happened last night. She felt a sharp pain in her neck and shoulder, and a forgotten, unfamiliar pain a bit lower. Kate groaned as she pushed up some, feeling Javi's arms around her still. She glanced to him, finding him asleep. Kate grinned for a moment, leaning down to brush his long, brown hair back. Kate then kissed his forehead. "Good morning...."

She whispered, watching Javi with a warm expression. Kate felt herself blushing as she remembered what they did. The night before was so insane, she could barely believe it all. First, the argument with Gabe. Then, a knife at her throat, cutting her skin. Finally, and most important, Javi.

She and /Javi/. They finally were together, years later. Kate had wanted to be with him for so long, and then it just happened.

And it was definitely amazing. He was so perfect last night. It almost felt like one of those old English books where the man honored the woman and made her feel like she was a queen. Kate had never been with a man like that before.

Kate blushed again, quickly laying back down in bed. But, she knocked her head on his, causing him to wake up as she groaned. "Oh fuck." Kate laughed some to herself at her clumsiness as she laid back on the bed.

Javi began to wake up, rubbing his forehead as he opened his warm brown eyes. He saw Kate beside him, and instantly smiled. "You okay?" He asked, far more concerned about her head than his own. Javier sat up, moving to kiss her head as if he could make it all better.

"Y-yeah, I'm fine. You've got a hard head." Kate teased him, rubbing her head now and watching him. She still had some redness in her cheeks. Kate's eyes drifted down to his bare chest, one of her hands roaming to touch and explore him.

Javi relaxed under her touch, feeling the most relaxed he had in years. Especially because Kate was so awake and alert. She looked a million times better than he could have hoped for. Then again, she was the strongest woman in his eyes. She never ceased to amaze him. "Oh really?" Javi smirked at her, edging closer to nudge his pelvis near her.

Kate blushed at that, nudging him back some with her foot. "Yes really. Now stop trying to seduce me at eight in the morning. I haven't even gotten my pain pill yet." Kate responded, trying to wiggle slightly away from him as he was far too tempting.

"I'm so damn sore. Damn it." Kate whined, stretching her arms some, feeling the tug of the stitches. "I can't believe everything that happened. It feels like a nightmare....and then the wild sex dream you get some nights...combined." Kate laughed some at herself as Javi loosened his hold on her and sat up in bed.

Quietly, he made his way from bed. Javi slid on his boxers, going to grab the pill bottle from his bag, taking one out for Kate. He returned to the bed with the pill and a bottle of water, letting her have it. "Here you go, Kate. Hopefully this will help." Javi watched her with some worry, planning on catering to her every need for as long as he could.

"Thanks, Javi." Kate spoke, flashing him a tiny smile as she took the pill and swallowed it quickly. "So what's the plan today? Also, has anyone talked to the people of Richmond yet about what happened?" Kate asked, curiously.

Javi took a deep breath, sitting back on bed and putting his arm around her. "Will you stop worrying? I can do it for both of us. You need rest today, Kate." Javi sighed, pulling her close to him. "I'll take care of it."

Kate frowned at that, turning to face Javi some. "No...I can't do that. We're in this together, Javi. I want to come with you..." Kate spoke, her hand instinctively reaching for his. Everything was so natural between them, it was perfect.

"Kate....." Javi spoke, shaking his head at that and trying to think of a way to get Kate to let him handle the hard things for a few days. "I want you to rest, and go visit with Clem." Javi spoke, rubbing his free hand through his hair. He mentioned Clem, casually, almost sliding it in their conversation.
