Clementine sat on the edge of the bed, her legs dangling off the side as she kicked to try to help calm herself down. For some reason, she woke up exceedingly anxious this morning. She had terrible dreams about Kenny's death, most notably. She could see it now, his helpless body being devoured by the dead, even after he told her not to look. Clem couldn't think about it anymore, trying to find something to ease her panic.

She glanced to the corner, seeing the cage of the bunnies. Instantly, she stood up and went to grab one from the cage. She held the soft, brown bunny close, stroking her hand down the shaking bunny's back. "Hey...it's okay. No one is getting eaten here... I feel scared too, sometimes." Clementine spoke, managing a faint smile to herself as she was saving these rabbits from becoming tomorrow's dish. Who knew they would provide a powerful outlet for Clementine to express her emotions?

She figured that if she kept them in her room, no one would try anything. Though realistically, she knew if food grew short, she would have no choice.

"Christa..laughed at me for bringing you up here." Clementine spoke, bending down some and pressing a kiss to the rabbit's head. "But I need a friend...Someone that isn't a García....." Clementine spoke, clearing her throat as she heard a knock on her bedroom door. She had decided to move in with Christa again, knowing that she would have the most freedom here.

While trying to decide where to stay, Clementine thought about all her options  or should see say born  would always want to talk, and always know where she was going. Luke was great, but Clementine was more used to being on her own. Living with the Garcías wasn't even an option with the back and forth with Gabe. Clementine just wanted to get away and have her own space.

Clementine snapped out of her thought as she heard Christa's knock on the door.

"Come in..." Clem spoke, watching the bunny cower and hide under her hand as the tall, dark skinned woman entered the room. Christa smiled warmly at Clementine, causing her to sit up straight and hold the rabbit close. Clementine glanced to Christa, not really sure what to say. Things had been pretty quiet between them. Quite a bit of unspoken words were still between them.

Christa was sorry for how she treated Clementine over Omid's death. She realized that the way she was being to Clementine wasn't fair. It was just so incredibly hard to find the words to say that when she was so upset about her own loss in Omid. Not that it made any of this situation right. Christa glanced to the rabbits, managing a faint smile.

"You trying to keep them warm this winter?" Christa asked, moving to sit next to Clementine on the bed. Clementine glanced up to her, watching the rabbit again a few moments later. "Maybe..I thought I could use a friend...and keep them safe." Clementine spoke, the girl  truthfully having such a mature air about her after all the trauma she went through.

"Well I won't take them. No one has to know." Christa smiled , sighing some as she swallowed her pride and just went through with it.

"I wanted to talk to you about something.." Christa spoke, Clementine instantly thinking she had messed something up. What did she do that upset Christa? Was she asking her to move out?

"Y-yes." Clementine spoke, some nerves in her voice as she loosened her hold on the rabbit. He instantly jumped from her arms. Clementine moved to pull her hat down, fidgeting some and trying to flatten her curly hair.

"It's about Omid...and how I treated you after." Christa spoke, the lump in her throat  making  it hard to talk. She felt terrible that she was so cruel to Clementine. Christa continued on. "I'm sorry that I treated you poorly. What happened to Omid was not your fault. I was so upset because he was saving you when he died. But I know that's exactly what he would want. Omid would want to save you. He wanted me to save you...and he wouldn't have wanted me to take out my frustrations on you." Christa wasn't a very emotional person, but tears filled her brown eyes. She couldn't look at Clementine, the guilt hitting her hard.
