Jesus raised an eyebrow at Javi's tone, easily able to tell he was under a great amount of pressure. He shook his head before responding. His tone was calm and collected, like usually. "Listen, I'll tell you everything I know. Just take a deep breath, and relax. She's with Eleanor and Gabe now." Jesus quickly reassured as he saw Javi's tense posture. The moment Javi relaxed from the words, Jesus relaxed too.

Javier responded, "Right. Sorry....Man, I'm just worried about her. I know it's only been about a week, but I couldn't help but feel that I should have gone with her or someone else. It's easy to forget Clem is just a kid like Gabe." Javi sighed, rubbing his temples and moving to press a kiss to Kate's hand. Javi gave her hand a squeeze before sitting upright again.

Jesus nodded at his words, understanding that he was going through a great amount of stress right now, but regardless, getting upset wouldn't help anything. "Right. I get it....Like I told Gabe, I was out patrolling the paths between our two communities when I saw Clementine wedged between a tree and a rock. She was one hundred percent passed out, and I couldn't get her to wake up. I have no idea what happened, but I'm thinking maybe she was just dehydrated." Jesus spoke, not knowing really anything else about Clementine or why she was passed out. Truthfully, Clementine was the only one who could tell them that.

Javi sighed, not really feeling any better about the situation than he did a few minutes ago. Basically, he knew nothing new except for the fact that Gabe was with her. "Is Gabe alright? He's been going through so much lately." Javier spoke, his eyes full of some sadness as he thought about all of Gabe's loss and the poor way he was managing it earlier, like when he saw his Step-Mom and Uncle kissing in the kitchen.

Jesus nodded at that, not knowing any Gabe backstory to this situation. "He's okay....he's with her now." Jesus quickly responded, knowing how worried Javi was about the situation.

Javier nodded, truthfully disliking this situation. "I can't leave Kate...But can you tell Gabe to bring Clementine over here once she's awake? Or I'll carry Kate with me in the morning." Javier spoke, determined to make sure both of the girls were safe and together.

Jesus of course agreed with his friend's suggestion before he began to head to the door, slowly. "I can do that...I'll come back in the morning and we can talk some more." Jesus leaned in the doorway for a minute before heading off to find Clementine and Gabe.

"Thank you...." Javi spoke, watching his friend go off before turning his attention back to Kate. He moved to kiss her knuckles as he did so, speaking softly to her to try to calm down. "Kate...I hope you get some sleep. I love you so much, Kate." Javi sighed, moving close to kiss her forehead. As he did so, Kate's stunning green eyes fluttered open. Kate looked up to Javi with a curious expression, before glancing around the room

"Javi?" She asked, her voice soft and almost lethargic. Kate instantly felt the pain in her shoulder and neck before then feeling the dull, familiar stabbing pain in her abdomen. Kate moved a hand free of Javi's to rest against her new incision, quietly. She flinched at her own pressure, whimpering some. "Oh God...What happened?" Kate asked, moving to drop her hand back to his.

Javi looked at her with a confused expression before he realized it must be from just waking up from a sleep. "You were stabbed earlier...By Macy. Clint's wife. Gabe stopped her....But she still hurt you.... God, I'm so sorry, Kate..." Javi spoke, his expression clearly pained and broken.

"I wanted to go talk to Gabe....and I left you alone....Maybe if I wouldn't have gone to check on him, this wouldn't have happened. Your suffering is because of me." Javi spoke, clearly blaming himself for what had happened to Kate. Even though in reality she did not blame him one single bit.
