A/N: It has been far too long! I miss this story so much. I feel like even after 31 chapters, I have so much to tell. If only i had the muse and energy to write it all out! I hope everyone reading is still enjoying the story. These characters mean the world to me. Let me know if you're enjoying the story in the comments, and what your predictions are! 😊

It was amazing how everything sort of fell into place after Kate became pregnant. Javi's memory returned within the week, all because Kate hit his head off of the headboard during some rough sex, ironically enough. Not to mention the fact that Clementine was actually happy again.  She had her friends and family so close by, she couldn't be sad. Not like before where waking up every day was a terrible task. Every day used to be a pain just to live, but she fought on for Lee and those who had died protecting her.

Another thing to mention that helped with her happiness had to do with Gabe. She and Gabe were frequently together, though she didn't chose to kiss or hold hands with him, despite his yearnings. She had quickly pushed him back into the friendzone as quickly as she took him out. Clementine was definitely in denial about her feelings for Gabriel. But maybe this fear had to do with losing him. She was terrified to lose any of her new family, especially because those around her often seemed to die.

Richmond itself continued to improve, Luke bringing back some medicine and supplies to help the sick. Fortunately enough, he came back in time so that many could receive the medical attention they needed. Unfortunately, many did die in the process. But he provided help and reassurance for Eleanor who honestly thought that all was lost at a certain point.

Kate and Javi began to coordinate ways to improve stocking of important medications, seeing as they could have easily wiped out half of Richmond with the previous illness.

Now that Kate was pregnant, it was even more important that they had appropriate supplies for medical emergencies. Javi wanted to make sure they had everything on board for Kate, no matter what. They had everything planned, and over planned. They had countless medications, formula, blankets, and baby essentials for a whole army of children. Even today, they grew their supply as they anxiously awaited the arrival of their newborn.

Javi had just returned from a run with some paint for the nursery. This run ended up being extremely easy, seeing as no one was looking for interior design at the end of the world. He was excited to start on the nursery, hoping to make Kate happy. She was about 4 months pregnant, and she had one of the most adorable baby bumps around. Both of the happy parents couldn't be more excited, or more in love for that matter. Javi had his baseball bat in his backpack, Wild flowers and chocolate in one hand, and paint in the other.

Luke was carrying several more cans behind Javi, making his way to the house now as he spoke to Javi. "Man, Kate is going to say... you way over planned. Do you really need all this paint for one nursery? Y'all are just having one baby." Luke spoke, his voice different as he was exerting some to carry the paint.

Javi chuckled some as they approached the house. Truthfully  Javi was beyond excited to see Kate after a few days apart. He missed her, and he didn't like being away from her. Even if it was just for paint. They definitely had some catching up to do. Maybe they could just sit around and talk, or maybe they could sit around and stare at each other. Either way, he'd be perfectly content to spend time with Kate.  It was a true testimony to their love.

Javi moved to set the paint down, knocking on the door so as to not scare her. Quicker than he could have imagined, she opened the door and grinned up at him with shining white teeth. "Javi!" Kate spoke, pure excitement in her voice as she jumped into his arms. It caused him to clutch the flowers tighter, the chocolate falling from his arm.
