"So, quick idea." Vic held Kellin's shaky hand to help the small boy into the motor boat. "We spend the day with the guys and I'll give you a tour of the island."

"S-sounds good." Kellin smiled, letting Vic lead him to the front of the boat.

"Now," Vic smiled, moving behind the smaller boy. "One hand here," The taller boy placed one of Kellin's hands on the wheel. "And here." He put the other hand on the thruster joystick, keeping his hand on top of the younger boy's.

"Y-you're letting me drive?" Kellin mumbled, tightening his grip on the wheel.

"Why not?" Vic smiled, turning the key in the ignition. "Okay, push this forward to get the thruster going, back to stop." He mumbled, pushing the joystick forward with Kellin's hand. "Let's go." Vic laughed, using one hand to guide the wheel while still letting Kellin have the most control. Once he had relaxed and had complete control of the boat Kellin turned to look at Vic.

"Y-you don't have to keep holding my hand, y'know." He smirked, watching as Vic looked almost startled. He regained his usual confidence and smirked.

"What if I want to?" Kellin blushed, looking back at the water in front of him. Vic smirked, backing away from the younger boy, letting his hand brush against Kellin's hip as he moved to sit at the back of the boat. "So, tell me about Oregon."

"Th-there's not much to tell. I have two brothers, Devereaux and Hudson, and two sisters Kailey and Harper. Me and Kailey are twins so when Mom and Dad broke up we stayed with Dad, we had never been apart for more than a couple weeks so it made sense, we still saw Mom and the others but I don't see Dever, Hudson or Harper anymore." Kellin went quiet, thinking back to how things used to be. "B-but I remember the summer I was 15, Kai, Harper and I went camping with a group of friends. The girls stayed on the other side of the campsite to us and one night my best friend Justin got pissed and kept trying to hit on this group of 17 year old girls all night. It was honestly one of the funniest things I've ever seen." Kellin laughed, running a hand through his hair.

"I met this kid from Medford one summer, guy's called Matty, he spent this whole day getting drunk then cannonballing into the lake."

"Dude, Matty was one of my best friends, we lost touch after high school but the years with Matty, Jesse and Justin were some of the best of my life." Vic smiled, watching as the younger boy gazed thoughtfully at the harbour they were approaching. "W-we had a band at one point, technically it's still together, with a few different members of course." Kellin chuckled. "We recorded an album and everything, my friends Justin and Gabe are the only original members though."

"That sounds awesome. The guys and I were gonna start a band but we never got round to it." Vic chuckled, moving to stand next to the shorter boy. "Okay, we need to come in to dock now. Bring the thruster down and turn in to the side then back to the middle." Kellin nodded, trying to follow Vic's guidance.

"H-help?"

"Sure thing, Kells." Vic smiled, putting his hands over Kellin's once again. The hispanic boy lead the boat into harbour, pulling it up parallel to the docking station. "Okay, grab the rope from the back." Kellin nodded, handing Vic the rope attached to the back of the boat. "Thanks." Vic flipped the engine off and moved to tie the boat up. "And there we have it." Vic smiled, taking Kellin's hand to help the shorter boy onto dry land once again.
