They had finally arrived back at the small house. Kellin's heart was pounding as he searched through the top of their wardrobe for his old art supplies. He hadn't shown Vic his artwork, portfolios and sketchbooks safely stored out of sight and mind.

But today was going to be different. So much was changing with the couple and maybe being more open was what Kellin needed. The amount of pent up emotions he had regarding Vic were most certainly unhealthy and perhaps sketching would allow them to be free. Honestly, no matter what he tried, whether artwork or songwriting, it would end up being based on Vic's eyes anyway.

He smiled to himself and set his supplies on the bed. Vic was sat against the headboard, scrolling through his phone and occasionally glancing up at the younger man, a caramel sweet smile on his lips.

"Are you gonna show me your new tattoo?" Vic spoke, looking up from his phone.

"It's your name in morse code." Kellin stated, picking Louie up from his place on the desk in their bedroom.

"Seriously?" The pale man held the pixie bob in one arm and put his watercolour pencils and sketchbook on the desk.

"Y-yea... Is that weird? I'm so sorry if it's weird, I just- I adore you a-and I thought it was cute, I don't know..." He rambled nervously, holding his kitten close to his chest.

"Baby. Calm down, it's adorable." Vic smiled from his position on the bed, putting his phone down and turning to the younger man. "Kellin, serious moment. Put the kitten down." Kellin grinned and set Louie down on the ground. He moved to stand in front of the hispanic man, letting Vic link their hands together.

"What are you thinking 'bout?"

"I think I want us to be official. Nothing has to change but I just want to be able to call you mine." Kellin smiled slightly, tightening his grip on Vic's hands.

"Vee, that's a lot. W-Will you let me think about it for a while?"

"Yea, Love, of course, absolutely."

Of course, the hispanic man knew he may have been pushing it with his latest idea. But Kellin had his name tattooed on him, for christ's sakes.

He would never force Kellin's kids to think of him like their father, he wouldn't even dream of trying to replace Kellin's position in their lives. Their soft mumbles of 'I adore you' wouldn't change, a label could never define Vic's feelings for the small man, but something about calling Kellin his boyfriend sent butterflies through his entire being.

And it was a feeling he never wanted to change. Because, maybe, just maybe he was starting to love the pale man.
