One hand on the steering wheel, the other on Kellin's thigh. The gentle hum of the car engine had lulled the children into a deep sleep. Kellin was breathing heavily, eyes occasionally fluttering shut as he fought the sweet embrace of slumber.

They would be staying in Kellin's hometown of Medford, Oregon for a week. Vic wanted to get a couple of hotel rooms but Kellin insisted they should stay in the house a group of his high school friends shared.

Honestly, the hispanic boy was dreading it. He would definitely be the oldest one there and his relationship with Kellin would be difficult to explain. He himself didn't even really know what the relationship was.

"Hey..." Kellin's voice, raspy from sleep, pulled him from his thoughts. "You wanna take this next turning." It wasn't long until Vic pulled into the driveway of a huge house. He parked up and sat, looking at the house in awe.

"Your friend's from high school live here?"

"Justin's dad is loaded and, from what I know, Jack's boyfriend is fairly well off." Kellin shrugged, undoing his seatbelt.

"You're kidding." Vic laughed, undoing his own belt. Kellin rolled his eyes, getting out of the car and opening the boot. He pulled the bags out as Vic scrambled to get out of the car. "Seriously, Kells, I've got a good sense of humour but getting me to drive out to Oregon as a prank is a little much, don't you think?" Kellin chuckled and rolled his eyes.

"Just shut up and get the kids up, you butt. Cope can stay asleep and she just won't have a nap later." Vic smiled, opening the back door to wake Liam and Rowan up.

"Uppies." Rowan groaned, holding his arms up to Vic. The hispanic boy rolled his eyes, lifting the blonde boy into his arms.

"C'mon, Lee." Liam nodded, wiping the sleep from his eyes. Vic helped him out of the car, holding Liam's hand in his own. "Kells, you've gotta get Coco."

"Okay, thanks."

"Leave the bags for a bit, go and see your friends." Kellin grinned, quickly pressing a kiss to Vic's cheek before sprinting up to the house. He knocked on the door, hands shaking with nerves and excitement.  A reasonably tall ginger boy pulled open the door, staring at Kellin for a while until he grinned.

"Horesy boy?" He pulled Kellin into a tight hug.

"Bostwick! I thought we'd never see you again! You fucking scared us, man." He pushed Kellin off him, hitting his shoulder lightly with a playful scowl.

"Sorry, Gabey. Is, um, is Justin in?"

"He's upstairs. Let's get your stuff and the kids in and you can go up and surprise him." Kellin nodded, unable to stop smiling. He brought Gabe over to the car, introducing him to Vic, grinning the whole time.
