Unexpected Love

Chapter 22 Winter Break

 Once I got over to Nathan house, we mainly hung out in the bonus room watching 21 Jump street, I seen this movie so many times and yet, I still laugh at every joke they had in the movie. About to the end of the movie Liam and Megan burst into the room with a whole bunch of snacks. "Hey guys we brought you some snacks." said Liam, I then stuck my hand out at him, "Can you give me the Skittles?" I turned over to Megan and noticed that she was on the phone with someone-she does not look very happy. "Ugh I can't believe my parents went on their anniversary trip! Lydia can I spend Christmas over at your place?" Before I answered her back Liam jumped into our conversation. "Hey you can stay at our house for the break and spend Christmas with us since Lydia is doing it already." Man, Liam really likes Megan... Megan was thinking for a little bit but then she planted a smile on her face and said yes. Yay I now get to spend break with my best friends!

         It was almost 3 in the morning and I haven't left the couch, geez I am extremely lazy. For this whole day I was spending a nice sunny day indoors watching reruns of Teen Wolf. Nathan then walked into the room, "Hey Lydia lets go to my room so we can sleep." Besides listening to him I kind of made a protest. "But we are having a sleepover so we should all sleep in the same room." But Nathan was in no mood...."Lydia stop it so don't push it and lets go." I seriously hate it when people put their bad mood out at someone else. I mean what did I do, you know what I am just going to sit here and ignore Nathan. "Lydia." But I still didn't reply back to him, I just sat there shunning him. "Lydia!" Nope still not going to answer him, "Lydia can we just please go?" I look away from him glancing at Megan who seemed to be very entertained by this. "That's it. You asked for this." Before I knew it Nathan toss me over his shoulder and started to walk out of the room. I didn't fight back nor say anything I still just kept quiet.

     Later that night, I still wasn't asleep. I was sitting upright playing Candy Crush on my phone. I was playing till I ran out of lives, "Good you're out of lives, can you please go to sleep now." ask Nathan, but instead of listening to him I stayed stubborn and opened up Pet Rescue to play instead. Nathan started to groan which made me smile. Nathan then pulled my phone out of my hands and tossed it across the room. The second I was about to get up to get my phone, Nathan held me down and now he's on top of me. "Lydia I am sorry for snapping at you earlier but can we please go to sleep?" I slowly nodded at him which brighten up his face. Nathan then got off of me and put his arms around me instead. I just remember laying there that night but at one point I had finally dozed off.

     I woke up with Nathan arms around me, it was about 10 and man I woke up late today. I slowly slipped out of Nathan arms and sneaked downstairs. I noticed Mrs. Johnson cooking breakfast in the kitchen so I went to join her. "Morning Mrs. Johnson, need any help with breakfast?" Her face lit up the moment I spoke up. "Oh good morning Lydia! And no I don't need any help but thanks. You can just sit down and I will make you some pancakes." I did as she said and sat down. "So Lydia are you and Nathan together now?" asked Mrs. Johnson, "Um yeah we are actually together he took me on a date just the other day." Mrs. Johnson face lit up even more, "Oh where did he take you?" Only a few words said to make Mrs. Johnson face dropped. "Nathan took me to a high school party as a first date." "Oh dear god I have such a dumb son!" I smiled at that comment and then explained to Mrs. Johnson how Nathan apologized and everything which kind of made her mood better. "Lydia you know as a kid Nathan always-" Before Mrs. Johnson could finished Nathan interrupted, "Oh are we talking about me? I know its fun to talk about me but lets keep that to a minimum." I rolled my eyes at him and try to take a bite of my pancake  but Nathan pulled it out of my hand and stuffed it in his mouth. "Hey that was mine!" Nathan just smirked at me, "Sorry babe but I got hungry." "But that doesn't mean you can take my!" Before Nathan said anything Mrs. Johnson walked up to us and smacked Nathan in the back of the head. "You sir are no gentleman!" Again she made me smile.
