I am in such deep trouble right now, there is that fear of someone going through that door and shouting at me or being disappointed. I hated the feeling. But first, lets have a recap on what happened earlier.
‘Drew was taking me home and the moment he dropped me off, Nathan came storming out of the house, looking very angry at me. "LYDIA!" I jumped the moment he shouted at me, it’s probably not any better since he saw me go off of a motorcycle. I’d tell you the detail but it just ended up with Nathan shouting out at me and turns out that I didn't click send on the text message-whoopies!’
So now I am here, only if Nathan just let me explain everything then he wouldn't be as pissed as he would right now. I really wanted to talk to Megan right now but no, she is out at the movies with Liam. You know, I love how they leave the moment Nathan started to explode right at me. I mean if it was me I would at least stay....and watch the show and maybe make some popcorn? But no my dearest friends just left me.
I slowly crept down the stairs trying not to wake anyone up if they were sleeping. I went to the kitchen to see Nathan down there eating a bag of chips while texting somebody. "Look Nathan about today I can explain--" But before I could say anything else Nathan interrupted me. "You know what? I don't care! So just stop and be done with it!" then he stormed out of the kitchen. I seriously did not know what just happened there.

I woke up on a couch with a cramp on my neck ugh it hurts. "Happy Christmas eve!" Megan shouted in my ear. I took a pillow and smacked it across her face. "No one can be this happy in the morning." I complain to her, "Well I am this happy and besides I woke up an hour ago. By the way is everything okay between you and Nathan?" I just nodded back at Megan not wanting to explain what happened between us last night. To be honest I think he just broke up with me, maybe it was just not meant to be...
All morning Nathan did his best to ignore me, which worked out really good. He then left the house all day and no one heard a word from him, this was killing me on the inside even though I knew I did nothing wrong. In fact, if Nathan would’ve let me explained to him what happened we wouldn't even be in this mess. So you know what yeah I will not blame this on myself but on Nathan, yep I am going to with this plan instead.
I spent the day hanging out with Liam and Megan, by the way I am still very surprised that Liam did not asked Megan out yet. I am still waiting for that moment to tease them about being a couple and that has still not yet to come. While third wheeling with the lovebirds, I went to the bonus room to find a book off the bookshelf but there was nothing to read. I mean what happened to all of the supernatural, the romance, or mystery? All they had were 50 year-old books, this family has a horrible taste in books. After what felt like a decade I finally decided on reading the Lord of the Rings series. I never read it before but I saw the hobbit so the book should be pretty good. I grabbed the book of the shelf, and went downstairs to read the book.
"Lydia do you know where Nathan is? I have to talk to both of you guys." Megan asked me, I looked up at here and kind of snapped at her back. "Why do you have to ask me where Nathan is? You know I am not some stalker who knows where Nathan is!" Megan put her hands up in surrender with a scared look on her face, I now kind of regretted what I just said. Before I could apologize to Megan, Liam came into the room. Oh this better be good right now, time to get comfy and watch the show.
Liam went to go and sit down by Megan, he looked pretty nervous just to point that out. "Megan I know you're scared of going into a relationship, but every moment that I am with you it kills me that we are only friends." This is so cute, I really want to jump in and say something myself but you know that would be rude. "If this is your way of asking me out then, yes I would love to go out with you." said Megan. I just realized that the advice that I gave Liam, he did not use it at all! How could he? First I am his last choice to go to and then he doesn't use my advice, well I am just going to say he owes me anyway. "Oh my gosh! You guys are so cute!" I blurted out loud, Megan and Liam heads both snapped over I me. I slowly took my book and hid my face behind it.
I am on a roll today, I have read 200 pages whoop! I think I can do this on a regular basis if I actually put the effort and time. The front door opened up , and I looked over to see who it was and it was just Nathan. I made eye contact with him before I turned to look away, it's kind of sad to see what is going to happen between us now. Nathan went ahead and sat down next to me but I scooted away, I glanced over at Megan and she tossed me a confusing look. "Is that my book?" Nathan asked me, oh shoot I forgot all these books were mainly Nathan. I closed his book and handed back to him, then took out my phone to find something to do on it. "Oh that reminds me, I have a pre-present for you guys." My head snapped up and since Megan is having a pre-present for us, this is never good...
About a minute later Megan came running back into the living room with two wrapped presents in her hands. "This can never be good." I mumbled but Megan decide to ignored what I just said and handed Nathan and I her presents. I slowly opened it up-and oh dear god matching sweaters...
These are the he’s mine and she’s mine sweater."Thanks Megan these are nice sweaters." said Nathan on the other hand for me, I hated it-well just the idea of matching. "Guys go change into them I need a picture." said Megan, I didn't say or do anything in return but Nathan tried to nicely reject her. "Maybe another time but I kind of don't want to change right now." A life lesson should be, never say no to Megan. She didn't even say a word to Nathan, but she had the look-its all in the eyes. Before I knew it Nathan got up right away and changed right into the sweater dead on the spot. Megan looked over at me and gave me the same look but after all these years it cute that she thinks the 'look' still works on me.
This went on for awhile, I gave Megan a blank look while she was giving me her glare. Megan then took another step towards me, okay that's a new one. She took her second step, we never made it this far-I'm scared. Megan slowly move her left foot above the ground, for every move she made, I got more nervous. The second before her foot touched the ground I right away, stood up. "Okay, okay! I will put on the shirt." I slipped the shirt on top of my tank-top. Ugh matching! "Now go to Nathan so I can take a picture." I am way to scared to go up next to him, I have no idea if he is still mad at me. Before I took another breath, I was now sitting on Nathan lap. My body then started to tensed up. "Relax, I don't bite, and you should know that by now." I was still tensed up but I looked over to Megan and smiled. "Can we please talk?" Nathan asked me.
I now sitting in Nathan room on his bed, waiting to hear what Nathan had to say to me. Are we broken up?" he asked me.
"I don't know you tell me."
"I don't want to break up."
"Same here."
A smile formed on Nathan face, he then walked up to me to give me a light kiss on the top of my head. "By the way the guy you saw me with yesterday, he was my cousin." I quickly added in.

After making up with Nathan and him getting over his embarrassment, we both finally walked down the stairs to join Liam and Megan the happily new couple. Also we both still had on our matching sweaters, its rather our life or the sweaters.
While waiting for dinner to be ready, Megan and I were throwing a rubber ball back to each other across the room. I was leaning on Nathan while he was texting somebody. Who does the boy have to text with? I bet it is his mom... I then heard rattling on the door, but didn't bother to look up till the person actually got in the house-oh my god.
Mason is here.
