Corbyn was true to his word when he said he'd only be ten minutes. So when Daniel began to descend downstairs exactly nine minutes later, his grandma's door was swung open. All four boys walked inside whooping and shouting making Daniel smile a little bit cause he knew they would cheer him up.
"DANIEL!" They shouted and ran over to the brunette tackling him to the ground.
"Where have you been? We've missed you in California!" Zach squealed into Daniel's ears and he winced slightly.
"Bro what's up! I haven't seen you since the summer." Jonah ruffled his hair like the dad he is. Daniel just smiled but quickly fixed his hair.
"You guys need to move up to LA then." He stated from the floor then took Jacks hand who helped him up.
"You know I'm down cause Christina lives there with you but you guys are my only friends and I can't live without all of you." Corbyn smiled sadly.
It was true Daniel and Corbyn's girlfriend Christina shared a house in LA, all the boys except Zach were over the legal age to move out but they could never leave the youngest of them all behind.
"Well I have to manage." Daniel put his head down sadly and the other four looked between each other until Jack cleared his throat and piped up.
"Corbyn told us you were having girl troubles." Jack placed his hand on Daniels shoulder and patted him. "Wanna just sing, play and forget about her?"
Daniel met eyes with all of his friends and smiled. "Yeah, yeah lets do that."
"You guys can also help me figure out how to surprise Christina!" Corbyn smiled.

"Christina are you good to lock up?" I asked my work friend and she smiled her flawless smile back at me and nodded. When I began working here Christina would usually just smile at me and say a quick hi if she bumped into me anywhere other than work. Now she is the only reason I haven't quit this job because she is just so nice and heaps of fun to be around. Although we haven't hung out outside of work yet I'd still call her one of my closest friends.
"You'd think that working at Pizza Hut I'd learn to hate the stuff but," I shook the two pizza boxes I got to bring home. "Nope."
Christina giggled yet her smile turned into a frown as she checked her phone for the 15th time that night. "Why hasn't he texted back?" She whispered as we flicked off the lights for the restaurant, walking the same way to the employee car park.
"Who? Your boyfriend? Uhhh Calvin-no Corvin?!" I snapped my fingers certain that I'd gotten his name right.
"Corbyn silly!" I just shrugged. "Yeah my roommate went to visit him and said he'd let Corbyn have some time to call me when he knew I got off work but he hasn't even read my message yet-" As if you on bloody cue, Christina's phone began ringing with the screen name reading 'Cor-bby💕' and she answered immediately.
"Speak of the devil and he shall appear." I stuck my tongue out at her and she laughed casually pushing me off the curb while we were walking. Her smile faded as I heard Corbyn's familiar muffled voice on the other end of the line and she seemed upset.
"Awe poor boo is he okay? Do I need to hit a bitch?!" I stared in horror as Christina swore. "Okay well give Nintendo DS my love and I'll see you and him in LA soon right?...What? What do you mean you can't come anymore...Corbyn are you serious!..." I stopped listening in on the conversation as I thought maybe it was a private moment now. So I just bid her goodbye and began the two minute walk to my old maroon car that used to belong to my dad. My phone buzzed as I hopped into the drivers seat and set my pizza boxes down onto the passenger seat. I checked it immediately hoping it was Daniel.

I looked up out the windscreen and saw Christina sitting on the curb next to her car crying.

I turned the key in my car starting the ignition and drove to the other side of the very empty car park, parking next to Christina's silver Mini Cooper. I left my car unlocked making my way over to the side of Christina's car that she sat next to and plonked myself down.
"H-He can't co-ome see me anymore-re." Christina sniffled and I wrapped an arm around her pushing her head onto my shoulder. I had always been a very nurturing person so comforting people came easy to me.
"It's okay babe-" I tried to soothe her but Christina would have none of it.
"No! It's not! I haven't seen Corbyn in 4 months since he moved back in with his parents in Cali all because he felt like Zach would be to alone! I mean I was here? Was I not good enough for him!" She yelled out into the night and I cradled her head. Even though I had no idea who Zach was I just listened. "I-I mean I just...I love him so much and he m-makes-s it seem like it's such-ch a bother to come here."
I didn't say anything and just let her speak her mind at that moment. But I did notice my lock screen light up and I frowned also as I read the messages on the lockscreen.

Really Felicity. Again. I can not believe that you're blowing me off AGIAN! I am you're boyfriend. You're supposed to love and pick me over everything that you do Felicity. You never hang out with me anymore, you don't come over to my house, and you're always on the phone talking to this Daniel bitch. I've seriously had it with you. I wish I could get this whole year back and cut you out of it. Have fun with Daniel. Good bye Felicity.
"Felicity? Felicity?! Are you okay?" Christina patted my face worryingly as her own tears streamed down her face so I just hugged her tighter and burried my face into her neck.
"I just g-got dumped." I stuttered and began to match her state.
"Oh chickee." And then I cried, on a curb, out the front of a Pizza Hut. But I'm glad I wasn't doing it alone.
