"I miss you. Just let me explain please. Y-You have to understand that I love you - and only you! Please take me back Daniel, I'm so sorry."

My heart ached as I replayed the pathetic voice message I was willing to send to Daniel. Sighing and wiping away as many tears as I could, I pressed delete and threw my phone across the room.

It was silent until my mom knocked on the door for the twenty third time tonight. I sniffled and called out that I just wanted to be left alone.

How does she not understand?

I'm a mess up. Just like Daniel said. I don't want to mess up my moms life as well.

"Honey, there's some one here for you." I threw off my blankets immediately and ran to the door. As soon as I saw who was behind my mother I burst into tears and grabbed them into a hug.

"Sorry that this is how we hang out for the first time."

"Girl say nothing of it." Tia smiled as I laughed into her shoulders. I pulled back allowing her to come into my room before shutting the door behind me and dragging her over to my bed so I could sit at my desk. She ran her slender fingers through her Afro. "Now, tell me everything. The two of you seemed so happy when I served you at the movies like what, a week ago?"

"M-My ex..."

"She's upstairs. But, I don't think she wants to see you right now." Felicity's mother looked behind her every now and then to make sure no one else saw me at the door. Especially not Raymond.

"Please. I-I need to see her." I begged and pleaded, tears streaming down my face as I shook on my knees. The boys and Chrissy were either standing behind me or waiting in the car, but I wasn't embarrassed of my actions.

I needed to see Filly and if begging on my hands and knees was what it took, then I would gladly do so for hours.

"Daniel sweetie. Just..." Rosa was cut off by Karmody sweet little voice.

"Danny." She whispered and hung her head low, slowly walking over to me as I outstretched my arms. "Why does she cry all the time?"

My heart lurched forward and I gulped as I held back a tear. I let Felicity down and I let down Karmody. What is wrong with me?

"I-"

"Mark is a bad person," Karmody lifted her head up to meet my eyes but once she looked into my blue eyes she cried. "But you're worse."

"Karmody!" I stood up as Karmody ran behind her mother and there before me, stood my beautiful baby girl. My love, my other half - and all that other cliche shit -, was standing about two meters in front of me.

Felicity's hair was a mess, no make-up, sweats, one of my singlets she'd cut up and sewn, and she was still perfection. But my favourite thing was the broken smile on her face.

"Filly..." I whispered and I had about 0.4 seconds to prepare before she ran towards me and buried her head in the crook of my neck. "I'm sorry, baby. I'm so, so, so, sorry."

Felicity pulled back and I placed my hands under her thighs as she wrapped her legs around my waist. The boys and that had all now dispersed back to the car and I saw Rosa had led Karmody out of the main hall.

"Shhhhh. It was my fault. I messed up like you said and I'm so-"

"Don't you dare." I hissed and kissed her nose. "Don't you believe anything I said or texted. I was hurt and got defensive and that was so wrong.

I cut myself off with my won sob and this made Felicity cry more.

"I made you cry, I made you hurt, I broke your heart - I made you sick. I'm the real mess up." Filly just stayed quiet but slowly let herself back down onto the ground. However she did get on her tippy toes and place a very much needed and missed kiss on my lips.

Felicity pulled away first leaving me begging for more. She just smiled and lent her head against mine while breathing in slowly and repeatedly whispering, "I love you."
