As soon as Karmody opened the door she giggled and did a little curtsy. Daniel was standing on the front porch with the beautiful rose he had taken from Felicity, and was presenting it - again - to Karmody. "Ready for our date, you look lovely cutie."
"Why thank you, and yes I am ready. Are you ready to show me how well you can act like a gentleman?" Daniel laughed at the little girls sass and simply handed her the rose. Felicity came downstairs to greet Danny and couldn't contain the smile on her face. "Here sis can you hold this?"
"Yep, and I know just were to put it." Daniel winked at her as she took the rose from her little sister and then ushered her out the door. "I want her back by 6:30. That's in two and a half hours!"
"She'll be here at 6:29." Daniel teased as he waved goodbye and held out his hand for Karmody to take, which she gladly did before blowing a goodbye kiss to her elder sister. Felicity chuckled and closed the door, bringing the pink rose up to her nose and smelling it before smiling and walking back upstairs to her bedroom so she could put it back in the vase with the rest of the bouquet.
"I love your dress." Daniel complimented as he opened the car door for Karmody and helped her in. Daniel wasn't lying, he actually did think that the purple and black sequin dress that Filly had bought for Karmody earlier that day for the date looked adorable on the girl. "I especially love the shoes though."
"Yeah, converse are my favourite but I could only find my green pair." Karmody huffed but smiled cheekily at Daniel after he closed the door and jogged around to the drivers side. Once Daniel was in, had his seat belt on and started up the car, his date asked the expected question. "So where are we going?"
"I was thinking about going to see a movie before getting something to eat, but I don't think you'll even like it." Daniel smirked as he handed her the movie tickets he had booked earlier. He kept his eye on the road but watched from his peripherals Karmody's face light up as she read the movie title.
"No way! I LOVE SMURFS!" Karmody couldn't stop bouncing in her seat after that. Finding out she was seeing Smurfs 2 was the greatest thing on the planet for her right now and she was so excited. Of course Daniel would rather watch Mean Girls a million times over then ever see this movie...but Karmody reminded him of his sister Anna when they were younger, and he missed her a lot. So if seeing this made her happy, than roll the film.
When the two walked into the cinema Daniel recognised the cashier and smiled at her. She waved back immediately and smiled at Karmody, "Here for the Smurfs I'm betting?"
"Yep! Number 2!" Karmody handed Tia the movie tickets and waited to be told she could go in with Daniel.
"Do you want any food K?" Daniel asked his date who just shrugged and kicked her feet. Tia gave the boy a knwoning look and went into the back room. She came back out with a small bucket of popcorn and a bag of M&Ms.
"It's on the house sweetie." Tia winked at Karmody and the little girl gasped. She looked at Daniel who nodded and then eagerly took the food from the cashier.
"I'll see you in there Danny!"
"No K wait - and she's gone." Daniel laughed and Tia smiled at him. "Well, onto a slow death I go."
Just as he was leaving Tia called out to him and he turned back to face her. "I-I'm really glad that you and Filly are good again. I've never see two people so fond of each other than you two."
"You'll find someone." Daniel smiled and with a wave he was gone. Tia looked down at the movie tickets she was playing with and smiled, Daniel knew what she was really talking about and they weren't even good friends yet.
"Maybe he has a friend?"

Back at home, Felicity was mid way through watching Stranger Things season 2 when she heard the doorbell ring. Sighing and checking her phone she sat up against the couch, surprised that it was only 5. But she got up nonetheless and walked over to the front door. "He said 6:29, what the h-"
"Hey bestie!" Christina shrieked as soon as she saw Felicity open the door. Felicity jumped excitedly and hugged the crap out of her best friend. "You ready to go?"
"Wha-where?" The girl was shocked as Christina pulled back and tucked a piece of her short brown hair behind her ear.
"I already texted Daniel, but we are going for a girls day today!" Chris smiled and began to drag her friend to her car. Rosa came out from the garage as this was happening and smiled sweetly at her daughter.
"Have fun baby." Felicity stood shocked but managed a small smile. "I planned this. Get out of my house 'aight."
"Alright mother." Felicity turned back down to the end of her driveway but stopped in her tracks as soon as she saw Christina's car.
"W-We'll sort of a girls day."
"Hey." Came from the voices of Jonah, Jack, Corbyn and Zach.
